Memorial Union — Attraction in Madison

Id' like coming here all the time and as someone that works, play and eat in the heart of Madison, I like watching the sunsets and the sunrise here at the lake. Please do buy a membership if you are going to continue to visit the M.U.T all the time. As a former student and now employee by the city of Madison, this is my peanut and jam spot 😝. Live music in the spring time and another but summer wonderful days here at the M.U.T. Beer is served on the campus ground but beware that you are not allow to bring in other alcohol beverages onto the grounds. This has been warning for anyone that was thinking about attempting. Must be 21 to drink and ID and memberships are required and will be asked for. There is a Kisco machine near by to register membership or you can ask the community desk for more information. There is where you can get discount on bus tickets To and from Chicago airport, or take the Badger Bus to Milwaukee, WI about 1 hour 40 minutes from Madison. WIFI is available to anyone that needs but you also have to register and login. Carte is more for the healthy person and have a range from a salad with chicken or vegan options but do come fast. DER RATHSKELLER is where you can order food from the UW menu. From Wraps, to salad or breakfast, you can get it and price pretty fair. Strada is a homemade pizza location inside the M.U.T and tons of people order the ring of daily, "I don't eat pizza or less it vegan". Even in the winter season, there is some fun activities to...

I had my wedding in the great hall of the Memorial Union and I couldn't have possibly found a better venue. Absolutely stunning room with incredible staff and such affordable pricing! Hattie was our wedding coordinator and she was absolutely incredible. I'm a pretty decisive person, but whenever I couldn't make a choice she was so helpful with suggestions and made sure I was always happy with what I'd picked. The food was absolutely incredible. I was so impressed with the quality of service and food on my day! Every single dish was amazing, and they were so accommodating when it came to my guests with severe allergies and special dietary needs. I don't know if I could have found a venue more willing to work with me and my guests so pleasantly! I am so pleased with the service I received from the Union. The catering staff certainly has their stuff together and pulls off large events flawlessly. My wedding day was absolutely perfect, and I owe a very large part of that to the amazing staff at the Memorial...

My oh my this place is amazing. Right next to the lake so you can watch all the sail boats and gulls. Heck, if you've got your trunks and it's seasonable you can even go for a swim. They have delicious brats and alcohol so that's yummy. Some underage kid asked us to buy him alcohol, though, and we said no because that's illegal. He walked away pretty fast. They also had a DJ playing some sweet beats on the terrace. The furniture was colorful and enticing and they have games to checkout. I bought a deck of cards and we played Egyptian rat slap (a very fun game, but it took me a minute to learn). Inside there are TVs for viewing sports (World Cup was on when I went). I'm not sure if it's always sports, but it was pretty neat. The front steps are pretty entertaining. Buncha badgers running around though. Badgers are everywhere on that campus I swear. It's an infestation. Overall this spot was amazing and I wish I attended UW @ Madison...
