Tempur-Pedic Flagship Store — Attraction in Manhattan Beach

I had a terrible experience with whoever answered the phone. I wanted to buy a Tempur-Pedic mattress that day and was sitting in the parking lot for Mattress Firm in Inglewood. I thought I'd call the flagship and see if a good price that I saw online was also in-store. Why visit two places and go back and forth, etc? Figured that I was gonna end up at the Flagship Store anyway.

Well, whoever answered the phone at the Tempur-Pedic Flagship Store was rude af. He actually scoffed when I asked them about the sale I saw online. Didn't actually answer my question of whether or not there were any current sales happening in-store. And he told me that the mattress I saw online was just a 'mattress in a box' and that they only do 'white glove delivery of real mattresses', implying that what I was asking was too low class for a Manhattan Beach store.

Well, joke's on that a-hole. I dropped a decent amount of money on a LuxeAdapt and an Ergo 3.0 base at the Mattress Firm in Inglewood. Shout out to Jackson at Mattress Firm in Inglewood. Dude was awesome: helpful, polite, not pushy, and didn't have a stick so far up himself that he had splinters in his mouth. Very much unlike whoever they employ at the Tempur-Pedic Flagship Store in Manhattan Beach. Note to that GM: customer experience (CX) starts well before a customer walks into your store. We were looking at another brand (air pockets), and we were about ready to buy one of those. But a neighbor told us of sone issues, so I decided to check out Tempur-Pedic at the Manhattan Beach Flagshio Store.

We were greeted by several employees, and Hamid helped us. Hamid was confident and had excellent product knowledge. He was personable, attentive to our needs and comments and enjoyable to work with.

Like any excellent salesperson, Hamid determined our needs and suggested a product that he felt would best meet our needs. I did my homework before going to the store, and Hamid suggested the mattress & frame combination that I selected at home.

The feel of the mattress was DREAMY. I went back today and purchased the top-of-the-line mattress with the smart base.

I took advantage of their no-interest financing.

Hamid, the store manager Richard and the other sales people were all friendly & professional.
