Farm House Foods Live Fish Market — Attraction in Maple Heights

I've been coming here for years. Literally since childhood. Their service was awful last year and I didn't go back until recently. The service was amazing. The cashier's were so kind and professional. My friend got a shrimp dinner and perch dinner both with fries (she said the seafood was good but the fries were dry and bland). I ordered a Cajun seasoned catfish dinner with fries and lemon pound cake. The fish was very good. Fried hard and seasoned well. The fries were absolutely horrible. Fried so hard and had no seasoning. They were inedible. The bread was soaked with grease on the bottom. They used to put a sheet of parchment on top of the fish to prevent this. The pound cake was nicely flavored but just dry. I was disappointed because I've always had good meals here. I usually get the green beans and spaghetti for sides. I'll keep patronizing them...I just hope...

It's a revelation to me that these 2 locations are the same. My horrible review cor woodlands location is staunch contrast of this location. Don't get me wrong customer service is acceptable and that's the frequented location for my island ingredients bulk needs but the FOOD quality and difference ot took me a back bc my intentions to leave a review for Woodland wasn't a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ one at all. The food here was wasn't complicated it was only one item. End of the day, last order b4 close & it was THE BEST in years of trying & buying. I wa impressed with the patience bc my stuff was all over the place doing too nany things simultaneously but the patience was very well demonstrated and I CAN'T WAIT to return and try a little more. Had almost given up on seafood from the markets. haven't been to West Side market in years so this is based on 2 other markets but SOUTH GATE...

Farm house is a great fish market in the greater Cleveland area. If you want fresh and frozen seafood to take home and cook or if you want to call ahead and have their excellent cooks prepare it for you you can do both. Just remember if I think their cooks are great then most Clevelanders think the same way so if you want your seafood cooked call in Early and they will tell you about what time it will be ready. It's all carry out but it is always hot and delicious. So please try the one in Maple heights if you are on the south east side of Cleveland or the one on woodland in Cleveland right by the opportunity corridor road. You will...
