First off, this review is from a bouldering newbie and stay at home mom.
We bought memberships for our family after doing the math of how many times per month we'd need to go to justify the cost of our memberships + gear. It came out to about 3x per month per person. Here the place hasn't even been open a full month and we have been 6x! We love Rock Solid. I don't think we'll have a hard time getting our money's worth out of the membership.
We are all novices in my family, yet by our 2nd visit, we could all feel ourselves improving! My kids LOVE the challenges and after every visit brag to us (the parents) about the new thing they can do this time that they couldn't do previously.
As a SAHM during a pandemic where many businesses (and our schools) are closed, I love that I can take my masked kiddos to Rock Solid to get in some exercise!
Also, the staff and owners are great people! Super helpful! Family values are clearly evident!

Read moreRock Solid is awesome! The facility is laid out so well and with so many boulder problems, you won't be getting bored any time soon. The area is well lit and clean, with a spacious workout/training area and a fitness studio for yoga classes and such. Additionally, they have unisex solo shower rooms and bathroom.
Their problems are color coded by difficulty instead of the traditional v grade, with each difficulty overlapping. It's a bit of a change but actually helps with focusing on the climb as opposed to the grade.
Their setters are fantastic as well with thought provoking moves instead of 1 move wonders that I've encountered at other gyms. Climbers of all styles will find enjoyment with the routes.
Lastly, the staff is incredibly friendly. Between the check in process and climbing, staff members were available to answer any and all questions.

Read morePretty great gym. There are a variety of walls, even a taller one with autobelays. I really enjoyed the topout area. The shower was super private and clean. The setting was great! Most of the problems I did had great movement and were a lot of fun. The grading system is a little strange. There is no V scale, the routes are graded by the color of the holds. I was told it's because they want everyone not to be intimidated by numbers and jump on any problem. In my opinion, it works the same with the colors. If I know certain colors are more difficult, I would just be intimidated by colors instead of numbers. That aside, it was a great few hours of climbing. The staff were also super friendly and helpful when I had a question! ...
