My appt with nail tech, Rosie, was disappointing. I requested a Barbie inspired ombré design with colors pink and purple with almond shape nails. Rosie did a great job on this request. She also recommended a letter “B” for Barbie on one of the nails, so when I googled the Barbie logo, she said she could not do it. Then why recommend this? I then googled Barbie inspired items, such as a purse, diamond, necklace etc., and she told me “next time”. I also asked her to add a glitter top coat to the base-end of my nails only, not the entire nail. The right hand nails- glitter top coat was beautiful; the left hand- Rosie applied full nail glitter. Unfortunately, I did not notice this until after my nails had dried in the UV light. When I alerted Rosie to her mistake, she was already working on another customers nails. She told me to wait a few minutes and then she apologized to her current customer. Rosie then started fixing my left hand nails after about 5 min. She was then rushing to fix my nails. Apparently, she had to file away half the glitter and then re-do the purple ombré color again. 2nd time around- the results of my left hand nails were horrible, rushed, and a darker hue of the purple than the right hand, plus the glitter was basically filed off to almost nothing. Then she told me: “I try my best”. NO she didn’t! Is rushing to fix her mistake trying her best? I wasn’t asking for much. I was asking to fix her error! She apologized to the current customer again. Wait a minute- I was Rosie’s customer too, not once did she apologize to me for her mistake, she just kept apologizing to the current customer as if it was my fault! I then paid at the cash counter, $70 bucks for subpar nails. I let the owner know that I was unhappy with my left hand, and of course the owner, completely ignored me and did not even acknowledge my concern. Perhaps it is a language barrier, as these Vietnamese places always have nail techs that do not speak good English. Such a shame when you live in the USA! I know the owners probably won’t care for one unhappy customer today, but one unhappy customer equals to hundreds of bad recommendations. It’s a good thing Capitalism and competition exists in America, so I will take my...
Read moreI came here with an appointment and showed my artist the first photo. I said I wanted a black base with purple smoke on top, in short or extra short, no shiny chrome effect, and no design. I had to have her clip the tips repeatedly and even by the last time she filed them, they are still too long. I came to her with round, natural nails and she square clipped them with no filing before glueing the tips on. Now when I get these off my natural nails are going to be square and uneven. She talked me into doing a clear base like the picture but then did this for the 'smoke'. She put chrome on my nails without asking after I had already told her I didn't want it. I almost feel like she went ahead with doing that so she could charge me more. My nails are super thick, it's only been a day and I feel the super glue at my tips coming off. My nails look good but aren't what I wanted and the acrylic on top is not smooth, it's bumpy and uneven. I was charged $80 for this after I was qouted a base price of $55. So that means this design I have is worth $25.....yeah no. I feel like I paid way too much for poor quality. I would have done a simpler design or left if my artist had just been honest and told me she couldn't do what I wanted. Editing to add that I'm pretty sure she used expired product on me because when my nails were curing they smelled like hot,...
Read moreNicki was great at what I requested as far as my ombre acrylic nails with design went. I would definitely go back to see her and would recommend her! I wish I was able to say the same about the pedicure that I received, it was the worst pedicure service of my life and for that I gave this business only 3 stars. I didn't get the older lady's name with glasses but I should have asked for it so I know that if I do ever decide to go back for a pedi she wouldn't be the one doing it, although even if they tried to put her with me I would decline her services. First pedi of my life where she was not going to put lotion on my legs/feet and massage them. It wasnt until I asked my Mother whom had just got the same service as me from a younger gentleman if she had gotten lotion and massage that she did end up getting along with a hot towel treatment that the lady decided AFTER painting my toes to slab some lotion on my legs, rub them for about 1 minute each, and then proceeded to use a wet hot was cloth and wipe off all the lotion smh. This same lady did my Niece's pedi also rushed through it and didnt even bother putting lotion on her at all. Super dissatisfied with having to spend $82 on 2 pedis and this was our experience with them! So be careful who you allow to do you pedicure if you go here and are looking for a nice...
