Saint Peter Cathedral — Attraction in Marquette

While on a trip, my wife and I attended mass on a weekday. While I am not Catholic, I have a deep appreciation for the liturgy, beauty, and physical theology. I strongly recommend visiting the place for eucharistic adoration as well as the crypt below. I stayed across the street, at an awesome Airbnb and fell in love with the building and its architecture. Not Catholic myself, not even religious but, this structure is gorgeous and awe inspiring. I only wish I had gone inside, just such a beautiful building. Marquette is such a wonderful place, this church is but one of many incredible structures in town.

The cathedral is a beautiful Lake Superior sandstone church in downtown Marquette next to the old courthouse. We attended Mass and it was a very nice service in a welcoming community.
