Definitely something you can do on the West side and guess what ... it won't cost you a dime!!!!!!
So we were a little confused on how to actually access this trail and totally missed the dedicated parking lot so we parked near the DT Fleming Park (actually the parking lot adjacent to it that belongs to Burger Shack) and walked across the beautiful Ritz Carlton property and found the trail. If you see a yellow church then you are very near.
Once we found the path, we made the mistake of crossing over the golf course because we didn't see tiny signs located at 'foot' level that said "walking path". So stay on the path and you will pass a cemetery that is to the right (it actually fronts the Ritz-Carlton property ... yikes!).
It was a sunny day so we had many photo ops. Be careful not to venture to far down the shoreline if you are not experienced with hawaiian waters. The ocean is known to take many lives. Never turn your back...

This access trail is a slight detour from the larger Kapalua Coast Trail.
Would still recommend sturdier shoes, but plenty of folks were in sandals.
Original: Unfortunately, we visited on a very foggy and rainy morning after multiple heavy showers. The trail from the small parking lot (maybe 10 spots) down to the start of the rocks was getting really muddy. Shoes with treads are recommended.
The dirt trail is about 5-7 min of a steady pace downhill, until it meets the bottom of the golf course.
We only made it briefly to the beginning of the rocky area when a downpour hit.
We will have to try again...

There is a make shift trail along the sea that is easy to make into your own personal trail as you gingerly step across chunks of lava rocks.
Hold onto your hat because the wind will constantly look for ways to separate hat from head.
Search for Dragon's Teeth trail head and walk the .7 mile trail. Limited free parking is available at the...
