Our visit there was very memorable and meaningful. Two family members have their pavers there. The sign and map diagram in the front was a huge help for us to locate them. We sat on the benches provided and prayed and sang their favorite hymns to our loved ones. It will remain in our memory forever. Read moreThis afternoon, my wife and I had the pleasure of meeting 98 year old Col. Frank Plummer (Ret.). Col. Plummer served in WW2, Korea, and Vietnam. He founded the Veteran's War Memorial of Texas in 1999 in McAllen. He and his wife were visiting the memorial today to take measurements for a new statue to be erected in March 2024. Col.
