Sugaring NYC Organic Waxing and Lash Studio - McKinney — Attraction in McKinney

This was my first time ever getting anything done with my lashes and I enjoyed the experience. No pain or anything so that was great. My technician was great! For my results I was hoping for a more noticeable lift. Don't get me wrong, I can see a slight difference, I was just hoping and expecting a bigger one. I think I have really stubborn eyelashes that just fall straight always. I'm hoping giving it some time will help. I think my eye lashes clump as well so that's why it's harder to see. I also got a lash tint which is great! It's like wearing mascara without actually needing to use it. It does look like for one of my eyes it didn't get all the way tinted towards the end of my lash line but it's only noticeable if you are really looking at it. I'll see what it looks like in a few days. But all in all, a little disappointed about the amount of noticeability, but I would try it again....maybe because the second time my lashes will be more cooperative. The staff is great and very welcoming!

UPDATE They reached out and contacted me about my lashes and offered for me to come in and have them redone with no extra charge. They came out AMAZING. Definitely a difference noticeable. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Jalessa! Let’s be real, booking a Brazilian wax can feel a little intimidating, but from the second I walked in, in November of 2022, she made me feel completely at ease. She’s friendly, upbeat, and has this way of making you feel like you’re just chatting with a friend while she works her magic.

The waxing itself was quick, super thorough, and way less painful than I expected (seriously, she’s got skills!). She checks in with me throughout, made sure I was comfortable, and even had me laughing during the whole thing, which I didn’t think was possible in butterfly position 🤪

I’ve been going to Sugaring NYC - McKinney for 4 months now and I absolutely love it! I always book with Paola and she is amazing. My first appointment I was super nervous because I have zero pain tolerance, and she was so sweet about talking me through everything she did and making sure I was okay, and she even gave me a few breaks when I needed them. She gives me honest answers if I ever have questions, and she keeps conversation going the whole time so there’s never an awkward moment.

If you’re considering sugaring, DO IT!! If you’re worried about the pain, it barely hurts (and again, that’s coming from someone who has little to no pain tolerance). And the results are so good! I’ve noticed a difference in my hair growth, and it’s only been 4 months. Just be careful because once you see the results you’ll want to spend the money to have your whole body done lol.
