I wasn’t originally gonna leave a review but upon having spoken to quite a few employees I’m going to now. I was looking to get 2-4 clear stones for existing piercings I have and dmed their Instagram asking if they could send options, I understand not all shops message through their insta so once they didn’t respond for a while, I called no problem. Upon calling they thought I needed fresh piercings and said they were all $60 w the jewelry being an additional price on top. Cool , but I mentioned again that I have the piercings I was just asking for starting price on the jewelry so I have an idea of what I’m looking to spend once I get there. She mentioned the most basic clear stones start at $30. Awesome. I went in spoke a bit about what I’d want and then was told the people I saw walking to the other parking lot while charging my phone in my car were all their employees, and there was only one tattoo artist inside at the moment and that I’d need to wait 10 minutes for them to return. I ended up waiting more like 15 min but that’s fine bc I purchase 4 of the earrings that I needed that were actually priced at 25 a piece. That was all good and so were the employees so I was willing to lowkey forget the unprofessionalism since I had gotten the jewelry I needed. But upon coming home they had responded to my dm saying “ The piercing service is $30 plus jewelry.” Uhm ? I thought all piercing services were $60 plus jewelry on top lol? They then tried to assume what happened though they weren’t the person in store and were not a part of the original conversation saying “I think this is what happened” well no! Bc you can pull up the call record to see I was quoted $60 without any jewelry involved. So with all this incongruent pricing on top of the lack of professionalism leaving your store front with one individual is a little wow for a place that acts so proud to be carrying nice jewelry brands. I have several pieces of jewelry that are well within the price range of things they have here , and definitely did appreciate their selection of semi precious stones, but will not be returning due to the fact it seems like you get different pricing depending on who you’re asking. VERY odd.
Edit after shop response:
YeahI’m not gonna deal w is the false victimhood you’re attempting to portray.
While on Instagram, you stated you have a new front desk that may have miscommunicated. Instead of taking responsibility, you’ve chosen to publicly reframe the situation as a misunderstanding while subtly accusing me of being rude or unreasonable.
Let me be clear: I was only contacted by your team after I had already left the shop. As I mentioned in the messages exchanged, I was responding to YOU as YOU contacted me after I was home—not the other way around. Also, let’s not gloss over the fact that your piercer found it appropriate to bombard me via Instagram DMs after you were already speaking with me. That behavior alone speaks volumes to the lack of professionalism y’all operate with—something I’ve also stated several times in part stems from your staff completely abandoning your storefront which you have yet to acknowledge as well.
I don’t owe anyone false pleasantries in the moment to justify expressing dissatisfaction later—especially when your team’s communication was inconsistent, disorganized, and, frankly dismissive. Your team was polite, yes, but let’s not pretend the interaction was something remarkable. It was neutral at best, and definitely not the glowing experience you’re trying to spin.
As I said in the many messages exchanged with your piercer—who continued messaging me late into the night—I simply don’t think this is my kind of shop and was willing to leave it at that after everything, but your behavior has absolutely confirmed that it was the perfect choice to leave the review and not EVER return here. Which it seems like the feeling is VERY mutual and I have absolutely no problem with that.
I’m also very sorry these were the messages that...
Read moreNovember 19, 2024....Today is my birthday...I wanted to get a tattoo I have been contemplating for months. After researching nearby parlors I decided to go here to get my first ever tattoo. I went with my wife, 7 year old son and infant daughter...this was a big deal for us so everyone wanted to see how the tattoo would look when it came to life. We were greeted by the receptionist girl as we entered, she said she was going to call the tattoo artist and we can make ourselves comfortable. A few minutes later the artist shows up, Hispanic looking young kid, and I started to explain what I want. It was a simple tattoo, I wanted the names of my kids written on my arm. I had two fonts in mind, so I asked the artist to show me how it would look on my arm...basically I wanted him to print both out in different sizes (piece of paper or however) so I could pick one. This was going to be my first tattoo, something that would be permanent and something that meant a lot so I wanted to make sure I picked wisely. The artist looked straight in my eyes and said "I need to be sure that you will get it or I don't want to waste my time"...I responded that I need to see how it will look and if I don't like it I'm not going to get it. I don't remember what he said next but his body language was enough for me to walk out.
I understand they may get a lot of customers who spend hours without getting anything done, but my tattoo was simple enough where this type of behavior was not warranted.
Long story short, I would not recommend anyone going here for their first tattoo, matter of fact, if you want any type of consultation, please avoid this place.
RESPONSE TO THE OWNER
Thank you for getting back to me, just wanted to clarify that the only hesitation on my part was to decide which size and font to get, not whether I was going to get the tattoo or not.
Also, please come up to customers and explain to them clearly if you're sitting only 3 feet away and notice that your artist could have done a better job. Unfortunately, neither his attitude, nor his words were very pleasant to say the least.
Wish you all the best and hope this was only a one off incident and is not repeated in the future with any...
Read moreI went here in May 2021 for a second lobe piercing and I’m leaving a review now because I have a new appreciation for this piercing. So it was literally the most expensive piercing of my life, and I was too anxious to back out after being told the price of the cheapest jewelry they had available for my selection (nobody forced me to get it, that was ALL 100% me lol) but I’m SO very glad it played out like that.
To begin with, it barely even hurt. It’s the only piercing I’ve ever gotten in my life that didn’t hurt. The individual who was piercing me that day must’ve done some kind of sorcery; my HPV shots were probably 10000x more painful than that piercing. And within a literal week it felt like it was healed (that’s not how it works of course the tissue needs longer to fully heal, so I kept cleaning it as instructed, but it felt completely 100% okay so quickly). I am convinced this was literal sorcery and he has powers.
Since then, I’ve tried to get other piercings at other shops. My nostril had to be pierced twice, my helix got so infected despite perfect aftercare that it hurt me constantly from the second they pierced me until I took it out and watched the pus ooze out, and my forward helix also never seemed to heal. It seems like I have a metal allergy or nickel allergy and whatever mystery metals they use at other places, and disguise with pseudoscientific terms, just aren’t a match with my body.
I can’t drop $200 on a piercing every single time, but it was genuinely worth it when I know it would’ve been red and irritated and blistered and bloody and sticky if anybody else pierced it with any other type of metal. Like if I wanted another piercing from here on out I’d just save up and come back here. I’ve included a photo from the day of, just for the receipts lol please ignore the messed up haircut I had, 19 was...
