We came to this Rodeway Inn looking for a good value hotel in Medford; we found that and more. This is not a fancy hotel, but we weren't expecting or looking for fancy, just clean and comfortable, which this absolutely was.||First of all, pricing was most reasonable. It's probably because this isn't the most high-class part of town. There are lots of pot shops, pawn shops and some homeless folks nearby but the hotel itself and its immediate area was fine. You just may not want to walk around the area at night. However, we could park right in front of our room and there was even a convenient Dutch Brothers across the street.||The bed was awesome, extremely comfy with warm blankets, especially great because it was a bit chilly when we visited. The room also had a very comfy armchair, so comfy Mrs. Cuddles fell asleep in it more than once.||The shower was warm with reasonable water pressure. The room has an ironing board, fridge, microwave, and a desk with chair. The room also had a good number of outlets that you could actually use, including USB ports.||Breakfast wasn't overly fancy but met our needs. There was cereal, bread products, yogurt, coffee, and juice. The breakfast dining area was small but comfortable, separate from the front desk and set back a little, so there wasn’t anyone coming through except other guests.||All in all, we were extremely pleased with the value we got for our money here. It provides an excellent base camp from which to venture forth and explore the...

Read moreI booked a two night weekend stay here just a few days in advanced from going on a weekend trip to Portland and back from the Bay Area California. I decided to go with this roadside motel because of the excellent reviews on Google maps, and boy were the reviews true to the Motel. I arrived at the motel around 8p on Friday night to welcome greater behind the check-in counter, who promptly got me all set up and had me on my way to my room in less than 5 minutes. If there is one thing that I've learned from staying here, is that you can't judge a roadside motel from just driving by it. The room was extremely clean and well put together. The Queen Bed was extremely comfortable, the water for the shower was hot, there was a coffee maker, mini-fridge, hairdryer, phone, a very nice flat screen TV with DirecTV, and digital alarm clock. I liked that I could park directly in front of my room so that I wouldn't have to walk very far to get to my car. The continental breakfast was superb as well, which included but was not limited, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, Belgian waffles, an assortment of cereals, and juices. The food was all very hot, and extremely tasty. I very much appreciated the motel's close proximity to downtown, as this made it easier to drive somewhere for dinner. I want to express my appreciation for the personable, and kind experience as represented by the proprietors of this establishment. I will definitely plan on staying here again next time I stop...
