When we arrived in the store, the first thing that struck me and my mother was the ludicrously foul odor of the store. Ignoring that, we headed to the the middle of the store and picked up some fudge for $5.99, then headed to the counter where my mother had spotted a labubu. She asked how much it was and the woman at the counter said it was $25. My mother then saw a Dubai chocolate bar for $14.99 or $15 and decided to buy it. What we were supposed to pay (without tax) was about 45.99, but the woman at the front charged us $50. My mother originally didn’t notice anything, but when we were exiting the mall she decided to go back and check the price of the items we had purchased to make sure we were not overcharged, inside the store she looked at the prices and it didn’t total to $50, even with taxes it wouldn’t make sense for it to be $50. When we confronted the cashier she quickly made up some tax for the card scanner on each item. She then tried to hurry up and get us out when she said “next” right after finishing her sentence. One of the most upsetting things for my mother was the quality of the labubu. She did not care much that it was fake, although she should have. What upset her was the fact that paint was missing from multiple spots on the face and there was paint where there shouldn’t have been. The feet were also backwards. I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience and will not...
Read moreSo, I walked into this candy store with high hopes and a sweet tooth. But boy, was I in for a disappointment. The employees seemed like they were on a mission to ruin my day. Their attitudes were as stale as old candy.
First off, let's talk about their customer service. Or should I say lack thereof? It was like pulling teeth to get a simple smile or greeting from these folks. The old witch working behind the counter acted like I was interrupting their super important candy-stocking duties. Rude much?
And don't even get me started on their ignorance of customer requests. I asked for a recommendation, and they just stared blankly, as if I had two heads. I mean, come on! You work in a candy store, people! You should know your stuff. But nope, they were clueless.
To make matters worse, their professionalism was non-existent. They chatted away amongst themselves, ignoring customers and leaving us feeling like we were invisible. It was like we were interrupting their candy gossip hour. How unprofessional can you get?
I miss the old people the sued to work there. Its not the same as it used to be. Never...
Read moreWe had exceptional service from Jennifer and Sarah at our time shopping at Candy Galore N More today! The Dubai Croissants and Dubai Strawberries were mouth-watering, soooo delicious. I had to beg my son for a bite of his to try the croissant and WOW I am already wanting more. I was specifically looking for a Toblerone bar, it's nostalgic to say the least, and Jennifer walked me right to it, picked one up and handed it to me. My son and his friend adored Jennifer and Sarah for their caring and loving spirits as they wanted both boys to enjoy their time in their candy store, making them feel so special like they were the only two people that were there and catering to them so personally. I am thankful to know two such women who care and love what they do so dearly that it carries out in their actions to others. Thank you for a great day and experience. I'd go on and on but not everyone wants to read long reviews. I sign off with...
