Uptown Meridian — Attraction in Meridian

I’ve been living in meridian for a long time, and over the years this mall has become very, very sad. This mall barely had any stores and only five food stands “pretzel twisters, garden and grill, American deli, a cookie stand, and a Mexican restaurant” and the mall only has six shoe stores “ journeys, shoe dept, jimmy jazz, sports addition, finish line, and city gear” which rarely ever has nice shoes. And seems like they never get new shoes. The only places to shop for clothes are the shoe stores and the four stores “belk, buckle, Dillard, and new square” and a place to buy suits giorgie’s. This mall constantly takes stores out like recently ‘rainbow. The mall has a few other things like phone repair, jewelry stores/stands, ‘bath and body works, ‘nailshop ‘Woodstock furniture, ‘GNC and ‘Clair’s. The only form of intertainment is “hype, and the golden ticket cinemas”. The only new things in the Uptown Mall is “I’m that boss pop up market” and “bearology, and smoothie and veggies grill that has not open up yet. This mall may sound like it has a lot but it is a waste of time and energy, it doesn’t even deserve a 1/10 it’s a negative 1/10. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to this mall. This is the poorest lame mall that i have ever been into. The antique or mini malls are way better than this place. Honestly I dont know how they even keep the doors open. The food court is a joke! This mall has a roach infested Mexican restaurant that is horrible and 2 Chinese walk up and order type deals and you know how that is usually old food or half cold and too expensive. The stores that are in this mall are ok nothing to brag about for sure. Honestly, Id rather shop at Walmart ! Keep on traveling if you are looking for a nice shopping trip you wont find it here and its definately not safe! This is my hometown and I Know we are supposed to shop local and I do just not at this so called mall. It's clean and the stores that are open look to be well stocked. There are restrooms between Garden Grill and American Deli. There also restrooms in the larger stores. Plenty of parking. They have an indoor kids area to play and also the "Hype" which is an indoor entertainment center. They have a. Area where you can have birthday parties and celebrations. They have a movie theater called "Golden Ticket Cinemas." They have a mall security team. On the weekends, they have "YEP" Youth Escort program which Uptown Meridian visitors under 18 years of age are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 years or older at all times on Friday and Saturday evenings after 6pm. They don't have any hair salons. They have a restaurant called "DN's Smoothies and Veggie Grill" that's never open to serve food...
