"Hurry up and buy" is all I felt while I was in there. The blonde older lady (said she was the manager) kept changing the price of the two bridal sets we were looking at. She started by giving me a price that was 25% less than the tag and told me that the price would include the insurance. Then told me the price would be about the same as the tag with the insurance. By the time we got to check out and ready to buy, she gave us the price from the register and it was $500 more than the price on the tag! I asked her to bring out the other ring since I knew the price on that one for sure… practically the same thing! She jumped up the price to being more than the price on the tag and when I questioned her initially, she acted like she had been as clear as she could from the beginning. But after mentioning the changing prices each time, I realized that she was truly taking us for fools. She rushed us to make a decision and when we questioned the prices, she looked at us like we were just confused and must not know what we were talking about. I didn't want to be ugly to the woman so I just told her that we would have to come back and that this decision needs some thought… She just stared at us in silence and didn't respond. It was almost like she was now angry and trying not to show it because she knew she lost her huge commission she was about to make. She has done this before because she was very confident in her ability to change the prices and play it off when there were questions asked… She may as well have been a professional scam artist. I wouldn't write this review and accuse her of this if I wasn't sure of what she was doing. This woman absolutely was trying to ‘steal’ from the customers. The prices on both ring sets jumped over $1000 within the whole visit. She was very clear from the beginning about what the prices included and later changed it… that is deception and she should be removed from a sales position and certainly removed...
Read moreIf only zero stars was an option 😑. Worst customer service EVERY TIME we go in there. The assistant manager Kat needs to find another calling because customer service is not it for her. You hide in the back to avoid helping customers and claim you are “sick” to justify your poor attitude with people when you are called out in it. And taking personal calls in the store in front of customers and other employees is def a “what not to do” teaching moment. But then on top of it when an employee asks you for help you act like you are severally inconvenienced because well you are on the phone taking a personal call which is oh so much more important then say YOUR JOB!
Every time we have had to go in because we have service warranties with this company ( the only reason we use them at this point because it’s something already paid for) we have had to call corporate to get this stores poor work corrected.
Ill trained, and ill informed on anything!!!! Spend your money at another store...
Read moreMrs. Jeannie at Kay's Jeweler's in Meridian was more than amazing. I have spent MONTHS trying to find a wedding band that would accommodate my uniquely shaped ring. 6 different professional jewelry shops told me it wouldn't be possible, I would have to spend WAY above my budget, or they just seemed uninterested in helping me. Mrs. Jeannie not only took the time to listen to me, but also to help me find something I am in love with. She reassured me that she would not stop until we found something I loved. By the end of my 30 minutes with her, she did just that. I could not be happier with my experience at Kay's Jewelers with her as my consultant. Go here and ask for Mrs. Jeannie, but be aware, you may leave crying...
