THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!! I had a bad experience once before with the food, but thought I would try again. So, I had started back patronizing this place, and have been going at least one time a week sometimes twice. I order just about the same thing everytime I go and I never get anything spicy. I ordered the snow crab meal and asked for "no heat" on the sauce, which is the same order I always give them. I got home and took one bite and I was on fire. My mouth and chest started burning. I thought kinda funny before I took a bite because the sauce looked dark red. I called back and spoke with a young lady that claimed to be a manager, but she talked more than I did. She seemed to be very combative and hardly did any listening. She told me I needed to bring the food back in order to prove that the cook did something wrong. She argued the fact that it was on the ticket correctly. I reminded her that it doesn't mean there was no error preparing the food just because the ticket was right. People can still make mistakes even in that, especially if there's a big commotion next door at Red Lobster and they're trying to see what's going on. Perhaps that's why my sauce was spicy and not what I ordered. 🤔🤔 I guess they thought I didn't notice the worker on her cellphone on social media reading about the latest news on the fire at Red Lobster, and her discussing it with her co-workers while I was in there picking up my food, lol!! It's sad that a business would think you're not being honest, even after you have patronized them every week. However, since they thought I was not telling the truth and the so called manager that never listened was so for sure it was not a mistake made, I took the food back and didn't worry about a remake. The very reason some businesses don't make it in Meridian because people that have the mentality of being professional doesn't care for places with poor...
Read moreMy 3 daughters and I stopped by this place after church on last night after having a family dilemma between Breaux Bridge or Oishi. My daughter called Breaux Bridge and asked about specials and they had a pretty good deal so we decided to go there. Went in was greeted by the host (lady in tan sweater in pics). She got us seated and this is where the issue begins. There were only about 3-4 other parties in this rather large restaurant, so we expected service rather quickly. There appeared to only be one server who walked back and forth multiple times and made eye contact with us, but NEVER even acknowledged our presence. She continued to service the other tables while we patiently waited for service. After about 20 minutes of waiting and still no service, we politely got up and left. As we were leaving the restaurant, we saw the server again and she still didn’t acknowledge our presence, say I’m sorry I was just about to get to your table or anything. As you can see in the pictures there were two other employees behind the counter, VERY BUSY on their cell phones and neither of them said a mumbling word as we left. I’m not sure if this place is under new management or what, but this was absolutely horrible. They don’t have to worry, they will never get one of my dollars and I’ll be sure to share this story with anyone that considers going there. Good customer service will keep you in business when everyone else is struggling. Absolutely horrible customer service at this place. We went to Oishi and had...
Read moreWell..... this wasnt the first time being here, the 1st time about 2 yrs ago it was pretty good but they either changed cooks ( yes cook whoever made that food yesterday didnt know anything about cooking so damn sure wasnt any type of chef.) Or they got new owners or something happened because it sucked.
The server was a bright point excellent server nice young lady.
The food man the food........we must've come on a day the dishwasher was cooking.
Plastic forks, but real steak knife, 😂🤣.
Steak tough as hell to cut it looked like that piece of steak in that scene from the movie Soylent Green beat up, tough, gristley greasy.
The asparagus ....wow.....whomever cooked the asparagus didnt have a clue on how to cook it. The bottom base inedible stem of the asparagus was still attached and it was also way undercooked was inedible.
All you have to do is hold the asparagus by the base and bend it...it snaps off on it's own where the inedible base of it ends and the edible part starts but whoever was cooking didnt have a clue how to do that as all that was still attached so they 100% cant be any kind of chef.
The fried oysters were starting to go bad you could taste it so those got spit out not eaten. The calamari was decent but that's about it. Certainly not even close to being worth 68.00.
I see all these good reviews but that wasnt my experience. Whoever was cooking definitely was halfass at best, and cant cook. So like I said we mustve went on a day the dishwasher...
