The visitors’ center at the Mesa Arizona Temple is such an incredible place to stop and learn. When I went, I was immediately struck by how welcoming and peaceful it felt. It’s designed to help you understand the purpose of the temple and the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but it’s done in such a warm, inviting way that you feel completely at ease no matter what you already know. The displays inside are so well done. They’re interactive and thoughtful, covering everything from the history of the temple to the deeper spiritual meanings behind its design and purpose. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re curious about the faith, want to dive deeper into your understanding, or just enjoy learning about the history and culture. I spent a lot of time looking at the exhibits and found myself learning so much. The people working there were amazing. They were so kind and eager to answer any questions I had, no matter how small. It was clear they genuinely cared about making my visit meaningful and enjoyable. Their kindness really added to the experience and made me feel comfortable exploring and asking questions. The visitors’ center also has areas to sit and reflect, which I really appreciated. There’s something so calming about the atmosphere—it’s hard to describe, but it’s one of those places where you just feel peaceful and inspired. Even if you’re not familiar with temples or the Church, the visitors’ center is absolutely worth a stop. It’s a place where you can learn, ask questions, and feel a deeper sense of peace. Whether you’re curious about the temple or just want to take in the serenity of the area, the Mesa Temple visitors’ center is a truly special place. I’m so glad I got the chance to experience it.

We have two temples closer to us but nothing compares to the “extras” available around the Mesa Temple. The Visitors’ Center, Distribution and Deseret Book, Pioneer Park, Backyard Taco… made for a perfect day-trip to see the Christmas lights and attend the temple! I wish all temples had a visitors’ center like this. Family-oriented and inviting, instructional and interactive. This was a perfect reprieve for young kids during a long day while parents took turns attending the temple. There are quiet rooms to sit and read, hands-on activities, a family history center, missionaries to answer questions you may have, and just an overall peaceful environment. The Christmas nativity display was fascinating and inspiring (all nativities were donated!) and we’d love to make this excursion an annual tradition. Worth the 5.5-hr roundtrip drive!

Everyone is invited to the Mesa Temple Visitor's center! The current light show that they are doing this holday season is awesome. Every night of the holiday season has churches and worships beyond the LDS church to sing at 7pm. Every day of the holiday season you can visit to see about 100 nativity scenes from around the world! On holiday weekends there is also a food festival across the street at Pioneer Park and further west from the Temple Visitor's Center is Merry Main Street within walking distance for many or the light rail for others. For those who will not make it within the Christmas time or have never been to the visitor's center, you definitely want to go as an individual or preferably as a family. Their words, Christos statue, videos, interactive displays and volunteers are extremely moving. Have fun and stay warm.

This is one of the most wonderful and peaceful places you can go to on earth. Especially in the mornings or evenings. But I don't suggest going on Monday or Saturday evenings if yoire looking for peace and quiet and alone time. You do not have to be a member to set foot on the grounds or go into the Visitor's Center. They have a wide grass field you are welcome to roam on, but it isn't suggestes for recreational activities.

Be sure to visit! They are closing in May for rebuilding purposes for the next two years.

It is a quiet place of open learning, meditation, and refuge. A respectful and quiet demeanor is inspected within the walls of each building. It is a sacred and beautiful place, and it is welcome to everyone to listen and to learn.

As soon as you walk in from the front steps of the Visitors Center, there is the Savior Jesus Christ. Its a large Christus statue and is held in reverence. There is an audio you are able to listen to if you so wish. Simply ask anyone with a black badge with white lettering on their chest. They will be glad to escort you and help you...

My visit to the Mesa Arizona Temple Visitors' Center was nothing short of uplifting and inspiring. From the moment we stepped through the doors, I was met with a spirit of love and peace that filled the entire space. The three sister missionaries who guided us through the tour were a true blessing. Their warmth and kindness reflected the deep love of the Savior, and they spoke with such grace and reverence, making every moment feel special.

Their message of family, hope, love, and peace touched my heart in ways words cannot fully express. I am so grateful for their testimonies, shared with such sincerity and conviction. It was a reminder of the eternal truths we hold dear and the joy that comes from knowing families can be together forever.

I left feeling an immense sense of peace, uplifted by their words and the beautiful spirit of the temple. To those three sisters, thank you. Your light, love, and testimony truly made this a visit I will...
