Superplay — Attraction in Mesa

It truly saddens me to have to leave this review as we are members of Superplay, always tell others about this place and on any other day love coming here. Being that we love this place so much, I thought it would be a great idea to have my son‘s 4th birthday here. Upon arrival, I was told that we were the only birthday party for the day. Mallory was great in letting us come in a little bit earlier than usual to set up decorations. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. Half of the kids, including my son, the birthday boy were not able to get socks that were supposed to COME WITH the pair package because they didn’t have the right size fit for the kiddos; half of my guests were in their own socks. My son never got a sparkler, also supposed to be included in the paid party package. I was told “sorry we’re out.” We had to track down our “party host” several times, as she was not regularly checking in. This resulted in my adults guests not getting soda when I had asked for her to come back in a little bit when more adults arrived. The 6 pizzas that came out… one had almost no cheese on it; was a cheese pizza and a few were burnt on the bottom. Lastly, when I was cutting the cake and asking the host to help distribute, she was passing out cake to adults with no eating utensils. To pay $500 for this birthday package that didn’t even have everything the package should’ve included on top of the poor service from the host was a bit mind blowing being we were the only scheduled birthday party for that day. Like I said, we’ve been here many times before as we are members and come frequently and every other time has been a great experience. I sadly cannot recommend this place for a birthday party.

Update: I was incredibly impressed to get a call and an apology email from one of the co-owners almost immediately after I posted my initial review. He took full responsibility, was empathetic and understanding and valued the feedback. The day may have not been perfect, but the owner wanting to hear about our experience and make it right made a bigger impact on me which deserves 5 stars. At the end of the day, my son still had a wonderful birthday, and we were partially refunded and even better than that, felt heard.. we’ll...

Feels SAFE!

We have 3 kids under 5 and they LOVE this place!

I'm dabble with the "helicopter mom" title because I want to keep my kids safe!

First, I love that there is one entrance / exit. Second, I love that there is 360 view of everything so you can stand in one place and look around and pretty quickly find your child. Third, my kids BEG me to come here, and in the summer? yes please.

Parents- If you need to work there is tons of seating where I see parents working away, perfectly positioned in the little where you can see everything.

Nursing - there are privacy rooms, it looks like more for taking a call or working a little more privately but I use them to breast feed my baby.

Bathrooms are clean and have a changing table and a seat for the baby to sit on.

They have multiple ball pits for bigger and littler kids, the indoor play place is big enough for adults to climb through, a great basketball area my boy loves, interactive screen, a fun "tubing" hill, and a great cafeteria that sells awesome and giant rice crispy bars.

The membership is AWESOME too becasue then I dont' feel bad if we only go there for an hour because that's all we have time for!

I had recently left a bad review on Superplay due to some ill advised parents bringing in sick kids. But after speaking to Hector the manager at Superplay, He has gone above and beyond to make sure going forward they regulate who’s coming in & trying to prevent kids from getting sick! He also went out of his way to make up to me and my family for our poor experience. And again this poor experience was due to ill advised parents more so than it was actual Superplay And Hector still went above and beyond to make us feel a part of the Superplay family. This is the exact kind of business that you want to be a part of, And with bad experiences at other places in The past. Hector really changed my point of view on this place with our talk. My kids really enjoy Superplay and we are looking forward to coming back again especially after the owner/manager Showed High class/character/respect/ and overall a great attitude towards our situation and We appreciate him and the workers at Superplay a lot.
