Las Vegas-Clark County Library — Attraction in Mesquite

This is a very modern library which even has self-checkout kiosks. It only took me about 5 minutes with a picture ID to get my card. The librarians at the front desk were very helpful and called for extra assistance as soon as there was a hint of a line. There were rows of DVDs along with the books, and everything was clean and well organized. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of visitors and the sound of children playing made it feel like a happy place to be. The cafe looks very nice inside and has a drive-thru window at the side of the building. I didn't get a chance to try anything on the menu, but I plan to next time when I return the books I borrowed in...

I love going to this library, most of the ladies working there are very kind except an older lady, with short hair, wears glasses, I've had many bad experiences with her. I feel she shouldn't be in that position, being around children most definitely is not her cup of tea, she has been rude to my children and I many times. If we were doing anything out of the norm I understand but literally it's not things to be upset over. She definitely has horrible customer service and doesn't tolerate children. This is why I'm only giving a 2 star review, maybe she should be replaced if she doesn't like her job. It would be so much better...

Very clean and relaxing. I come here 4 days a week in mornings and afternoons! Love this place and how clean it is. One of thee nicest libraries I’ve been to. Only downside is parents not watching their kids. I come in the morning when they’ve just opened and it’s so nice and clean a few hours later there’s a mess because of the kids. I’ve witnessed it myself. This is why nice things like this library don’t last people... parents please watch your kids. Or workers be a little more strict and set rules. This place is always so nice and clean but people who don’t clean after themselves make...
