Mesquite Library — Attraction in Mesquite

THE GOOD. Service- Staff and personnel are helpful and pleasant. They have given direction and guidance and have been helpful when visiting this location.

Facilities - The location is clean and modern with a great selection of books, computer stations, and places to sit.

THE BAD. The internet connection here is Ultra SLOW. I did a quick speed test via google and it was right around 1MB per second. McDs and Starbucks make this place feel like a dial up modem. It was painful and productivity was hampered. I left after an hour and went to McDs. Our tax dollars were spent on the decor apparently.

Conclusion. It's a great place to read and relax, but if you need internet for work, research, etc. ...

they don't care about the children or the safety, more focused on Harrasing them and banning people who haven't done anything wrong. they'll also harrass military people who have high PTSD and will ignore the request to be left alone by staff library. they'll let someone whose attempted to kidnapped kids stay there but not someone who cares and takes care of them. the library staff is a joke, very disrespecful, and there "prioty on...

The Library has a knowledgable, friendly staff as well as many different activities for people of all ages. It is very clean and follows all Covid restrictions for your safety. There is a wonderful cafe inside with great sandwiches, soups,coffees, smoothies and incredibly yummy baked treats. I love this library and frequent it at least twice a week.
