Mesquite Community Theatre — Attraction in Mesquite

Recently attended 2 Xmas shows at the Community Theatre. While the theatre is wonderful and the live performances were excellent, the overall experience was dampened by the other patrons. Camera flashes, recording video, ringing phones, and coming into the theatre late. This rude behaviour spoiled both performances for us. Please, Mesquite Community Theatre, introduce new directives to address the people that cannot conduct themselves in public. Shutting the doors and refusing entrance after a performance has started, introducing NO FLASH photography or recording and expelling the offenders, will make the enjoyment for the majority that much better. The Mesquite Community Theatre is a quaint and charming theatre located on the CSN campus. Many community events and the ever popular, local theatre group are headline attractions.

This small town theater has about 100 seats. Classic plays are produced, directed and played by local volunteers. The only things missing to make this a truly great experience are a larger audience and some much needed sponsors.
