⭐️☆☆☆☆ Really disappointing experience with the security staff here. I witnessed a situation where a customer who had just left the premises came back in—apparently just to use the restroom. No one stopped him at the entrance, so it didn’t seem like he was trying to sneak in or anything.

Instead of handling it calmly, the head of security followed the person into the restroom and confronted him in a way that escalated the situation. Next thing you know, the guard removed his headset and charged at the customer. Completely unprofessional and honestly disturbing behavior to witness.

After checking other reviews, it seems like this isn’t an isolated incident—multiple people have commented about the security team being overly aggressive and on a power trip. This place seriously needs to reevaluate who they’re hiring and how they’re training their security staff. It’s not the kind of environment that makes customers feel safe...

Attended a show at this theater and was horrible experience. There is a walkway on first floor between first and second section which leads to the only one entrance and exit Anyone seated in the second section is screwed because people walk through this walkway during the show blocking the view, including the people doing security who walk back and forth. I tried to stand up against the wall to watch better and they didn't allow me but allow anyone walk back and forth blocking everyone's view during the show. TERRIBLE layout of this theater with just one exit/entrance, and the seats on the first section are horrible super uncomfortable and with no space between people beside you. I would only go back to this theater if I find a seat front row in the mezzanine second floor. Otherwise...

I recently went to the Sting 3.0 concert. Of course, it was Sting and the music and lighting and graphics show were brilliant! However , I found the corridors and egress areas totally dysfunctional. I worked in architecture for 25 years in New Orleans, but I'm now a South Beach resident. Whilst the auditorium section was good (the sound system could use upgrades), the corridors, restrooms, access and egress, security and safety - all need a total redo. But in keeping with the architectural integrity of the building. I remember watching the Jackie Gleason Show that was filmed in this building when I was a kid. All these decades later to finally experience the space was very satisfying. I'm glad to know it's been historically sustained and...

This classic 1950s era, large 2,400 seat venue needs a bit of tender loving care (interior design, lighting, seating, concessions, flood prevention). In 2022 the Fillmore received a $29 million renovation grant so improvements will be coming. I went to see the International Ballet Festival. It was a lovely multi-cultural review of paired ballet. Efficient entry process with metal detector screening. Quick service at the retro lobby bar. Expensive drinks ($20-$30). Lots of legroom but uncomfortable chairs. Subpar consession stand selling bags of chips. Good idea to take a sweater because the AC is kept very high. Inexpensive parking ($1-$2 per hour) available at the Miami Beach Garage a block away (17th and Pennsylvania).

Great venue in Miami Beach with plenty pf parking. Valet is not as bas as other places but it takes a bit to het your car back. Signage is not clear so pay attention where to enter for valer. Inside there are bars everywhere and employees were nice. Amazing sound and great view from most seats.
