There is only one force that can unite a staff in true excellence, and that is leadership. Leadership is never simply a title—it is the quiet, steady example set in the small, human moments. At the Lincoln Arms Suites Hotel, I found that example in its manager, Iriama.
From my first interaction, the spirit of her leadership was evident in the warmth and professionalism of her team. Emilio at the front desk went above and beyond to resolve a challenge at check-in, setting the tone for my entire stay. Having just endured the cold efficiency of a virtual staff at another hotel, the human touch here felt like a return to something rare and necessary.
Midway through my trip, I learned I would need to remain in Miami another day. When I approached David at the desk about extending my stay and keeping my same room, he explained it was already booked—but treated me not as an inconvenience, but as a guest worth accommodating. He guided me through rebooking and even helped me locate a nearby jeweler to repair my bracelet—an unexpected kindness that bore the stamp of leadership that values people over transactions.
Later that day, worn from working into the early hours, I was still in my room past checkout when I heard a knock. Expecting housekeeping, I opened the door to find Iriama herself. She hadn’t come to rush me out; she had come to tell me she’d made an adjustment so I could remain in my room after all. It was a simple act, quietly done, but it revealed everything about the culture she has built: service grounded in respect, empathy, and care.
These were not grand gestures, but quiet affirmations of what true hospitality means. From beginning to end, my time here was shaped by professionalism, kindness, and the sense that each guest is genuinely valued. The Lincoln Arms Suites Hotel is more than a place to stay—it is a reflection of Iriama’s leadership, where excellence is lived and...
Read moreLincoln Arms Suites offers a distinct experience within the South Beach landscape, defying the traditional notion of resorts in the area. The accompanying resort fee of $34.20 may raise eyebrows, as it falls short in comparison to the comprehensive amenities offered by true resort destinations. Establishments like Hilton Grand Vacation Club and Four Seasons exemplify the resort experience, setting a high standard that others struggle to match.
Upon stepping into Lincoln Arms Suites, guests are greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of a welcoming home environment, particularly suited for families seeking extended stays. The spacious rooms, resembling more akin to apartments, are well-equipped with essential amenities, from microwaves to fridges, catering to a comfortable vacation experience. Opting for the king room with a sofa bed proves advantageous for accommodating up to four guests. While certain aspects like outdated TVs and bathrooms leave room for improvement, the overall experience earns a commendable rating of 8.6/10.
The standout feature of Lincoln Arms Suites undoubtedly lies in its exemplary staff, from David to the supervisors and managers, who consistently deliver exceptional service. Their approachability and dedication to guest satisfaction elevate the overall experience, warranting a stellar rating of 9.8/10. Despite the imposition of a resort fee, incongruent with the property’s classification, and an acceptable deposit requirement, the establishment’s prime location, exemplary staff, and comfortable accommodations warrant a noteworthy rating of 9.5/10. Lincoln Arms Suites stands as a top choice for travelers seeking a welcoming and accommodating environment in the heart of South Beach. My apologies this is actual the only hotel I didn’t take pictures of lol the gm...
Read moreThe hotel is in a great location. Right after my husband and I park out car in the garage, which is around 8 minutes walking, we didn't need the car for 3 days. When we arrived at the hotel, everything was clean and the wifi is great. The kitchen is convenient for a simple meal. The shower has low pressure, but it's fine. The bed is ok. The decor is nice. The remote didn't work and neither did the coffee maker.
Unfortunately, what weighs more in this review is regarding the level of noise, which is not this hotel's strong point. We booked 3 nights reserved, but we only slept 1 night relaxed.
We asked for a quiet room, because we are light sleepers, and the receptionist assured us it would be. The room he gave us faced the street, but there was little noise from the street. What was really heard was the noise from the hotel.
Unfortunately, the headboards of the beds are against the hallway wall. Because of this, some mindless guests spend the early morning talking on the phone. I understand that the hotel cannot control this, but they could put up a sign reminding guests to be quiet at night, especially due to the location of the headboards.
The biggest problem is the noise from the staff. We woke up with the extremely loud conversations between the housekeeping staff. And the other day, which was the check-out day, a staff was hitting with some tool before 8 am. We explained the situation to receptionist David that we couldn't sleep even 5 hours due to the noise and whether we could leave at least 1 hour later. The answer was that it would be charged. We asked to speak to the manager and he informed us that the manager was not available.
Therefore, if you are looking for a place in Miami Beach to sleep the whole night and wake up refreshed, this may not be the most...
