I NEED TO GO BACK!! AMAZING PLACE AND AUTHENTIC SERVICE! I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at Andrés Carne de Res Miami Beach, and the entire experience was beyond extraordinary from beginning to end! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was vibrant, full of color, rhythm, and joy — the kind of energy that instantly puts a smile on your face and makes you feel ready to celebrate life. The restaurant truly captures that unique Latin spirit of music, flavor, and fun all in one place. 💃🕺 I want to give special thanks to Daniel Jimenez and also Luisa Fernanda, who delivered outstanding and exceptional service all night long. Daniel’s professionalism, warmth, and attention to every detail made a huge difference. He made sure everything ran smoothly, that every guest at my table felt welcome, and that the celebration flowed effortlessly. It’s rare to find someone who combines genuine kindness with such dedication — Daniel and Luisa absolutely went above and beyond! 👏✨ The food was excellent — every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented... The Tomahawk and Potterhouse were delicious! The live music was full of energy and emotion, creating the perfect backdrop to dance, laugh, and celebrate. The band and performers were simply amazing! 🎶 The ambience at Andrés Carne de Res Miami Beach is something truly special — it’s not just a restaurant, it’s an experience! The décor, the energy, the people, and the music come together to create the perfect place to celebrate a birthday or any special occasion surrounded by friends and good vibes. My friends and I had an unforgettable night — full of laughter, dancing, and pure happiness. It was one of those nights that stays in your heart. ❤️ If you’re looking for a place that combines great food, incredible service, live music, and an atmosphere full of life, this is absolutely the spot. Thank you again to the entire team, and especially to Daniel Jimenez, for making my birthday celebration so memorable and special. I can’t wait to go back!

Ya le puse la cruz! I went a few weeks back for lunch on a Tuesday and the very handsome guy running the show very a la Pretty Woman asked me if we had a reservation for a 3pm lunch?! Then he proceeded to say well maybe I can get you in! Then he sat us at a four top! There were two of us and yup… you guessed it! The place was empty! The food was ok. The decor expected and over the top. We had appetizers and picamos unas cositas como pulpo, tortilla de maíz, all ok. We had coffee and it was okay! The waitress was super excited to tell us it was Sofia Vergaras brand! Honestly nothing to write home about! 5 appetizers, four coffees and I think we shared a dessert… no me acuerdo, that’s how uneventful the food and coffee were! The check was $180! With tax and tip! Again it was lunch! Plop. A few days later… I told my friend about it and said hey let’s go for a quick drink to the bar so you can see it! Same guy, same attitude, same line… I said no! Bye! The place was empty and it’s a bullshit tactic to create hype! It’s a 1/2 ass version of it’s Colombian counterpart, it’s not in the grove or the fashion district it’s in a dead pocket of Lincoln Rd, the few people that know about it will go to see it! They will be turned off by the guy and his crew and not return and in 6 months it will be another failed business! Sorry but Miami Beach locals either make or break you! It’s just a big mistake! You work on revenues right!? I went and you would t seat me. Big mistake. Huge! Bye! I have to go spend my time and money elsewhere! Bye! Pero en fin! Mejor ir a cualquiera de los 50 restaurantes en la proximidad que no se ponen en ese plan! Get over yourself Andres.

We arrived in Miami late and were very tired, so we placed a takeout order to bring back to our hotel. We walked several blocks to pick it up, only to find the experience quite frustrating. First, when ordering steak or chicken, no sides are included. You have to pay separately for rice, fries, or anything else — which struck me as odd, since most restaurants include sides with main dishes. After returning to the hotel, I discovered the order was missing both the French fries for my daughter and the rice for my meal. It was already late and I was too tired to walk back to the restaurant. On top of that, the steak was chewy, and the chicken was overcooked and very dry. I sent photos and spoke with the restaurant, and they initially offered a credit for the chicken. However, because I used the InKind app to pay, they told me they couldn't issue any refund or credit. Additionally, the InKind app forces a minimum 20% tip, which seems excessive for a takeout order. I ended up spending $166.10 on a meal that was extremely disappointing. As a Brazilian, I know what a proper picanha steak should taste like — it’s tender and flavorful. What I received was definitely not picanha. Unfortunately, I have nothing positive to say about the experience. I can go to a local Brazilian restaurant and enjoy a meal for two, with drinks and dessert, for $40–50 — and the food is significantly better. This was an overpriced, low-quality meal with no way to resolve the issue. I hope you’ll take this feedback seriously.

As SoBe locals, we like to try new restaurants in the neighborhood. I’m writing this for other locals who might be tempted. This place is another tourist trap. It’s a ripoff and the service was abysmal. The food….like, seriously??? In Miami where great Colombian restaurants are a dime a dozen. The only way I would recommend this place is if you’re sitting on the ground floor where the party is and you’re part of a bachelorette or birthday party.

FIRST IMPRESSION: We went on a date tonight and decided to give this place a try. It was just 2 of us so we didn’t make a reservation. When we walked in, the hostess looked annoyed when we said we didn’t have a reservation, and told us to go find the elevator and take it up to the 4th floor. I wanted to be very clear, the lobby was empty. She acted like we were a nuisance simply for showing up. The elevator was across the restaurant, and instead of walking us there, she gave rushed directions and disappeared. From her reaction, I expected a full house up there, but the place was empty save for one other table. No one walked us to a table (not a problem), and I had to ask the bartender where we should sit.

SERVICE: the server gave us one food menu (for two people). He took our order and we never saw him again. Not for water refills, not to check on us, not even to offer dessert. We waited with empty plates and drink glasses (long empty) stacked in front of us for 30 minutes before we had to flag him down for the check. Oh, and there’s a 20% tip included. The guy talked to us for 2 minutes and never came back.

FOOD: $16 for an arepa that’s half the size of the one you get on Calle ocho for 6 bucks is insanity. And (I’m being honest here), it was NOT good. I wanted it to be good, I tried to like it, but it tasted weird and bitter. $50 for salmon and rice (literally a little salmon and a side of rice). Like, bro. You can’t charge Smith and Wollensky prices when the food is not good and the service is terrible. This is how restaurants die on South Beach. The patacon is literally one oversized mariquita (a cracker) for $14. The second it came, I knew we were getting ripped off. My mom makes those out of an 89 cent plantain. I get it, rents are high here, but don’t rip people off. That’s gross and ensures locals won’t go there...

UPDATE: I got SEVERE food poisoning from this place by early the next morning and had to miss my flight and pay an extra$100 to get on one when I was well again , SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE OR IT'LL END UP COSTING YOU IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE Place was trash. Save your money and go elsewhere. From the moment I walked in the experience was not good. First off there was supposed to be 3 of us. (2 showed) and we were sat on the 3rd floor on a Wed late when the place wasn't busy OR FULL, missed the whole show but I digress.....We were handed 2 drink menus ONE food menu for 3 of us that we had to share to figure out and the pages were disgustingly sticky (fully stuck together)on the soup/ salad page, couldn't even touch it. The food was less than mid, TINY appetizers that came COLD with no side sauce(we had to beg for it and even then had to wait extra) so not only did we get not hot food but then by the time I was able to get the sauce IT REALLY was cold. Ordered the cowboy steak, fatty and trash. THE KICKER AT THE END? we were handed a review card I literally ripped up, threw in my wine bucket and the floor manager DEMANDED the review paper back EVEN AFTER I told the server that they weren't getting a good review cuz we had to BEG for sauces among other things BUT WHY WOULD THEY CARE? THEY'RE GETTING THEIR 20 PERCENT whether they give good service or not , which in Miami, is generally 18 , sure you can have your 20 but THEN WORK FOR IT! NOT ONCE were we asked if everything was OK , THEN THE FLOOR MANAGER PICKED OUT THE WET REVIEW CARD (out of the wine bucket after I said I threw it out) AND PIECED IT BACK TOGETHER AT THE WAITRESS STAND, HOW TACKY ARE YOU OF A PLACE? No place EVER has FORCED me to write a review LET ALONE NEED THE BLANK PIECE OF PAPER?!! I spoke to the first floor manager Daniel on my way out but an apology certainly wasn't enough for the trashiness of the food or staff. Will NEVER EVER EVER be back. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I had WAY BETTER QUALITY FOOD EVERYWHERE ELSE ALL WEEK. this place was the lowest of the low for a high price point undeservedly so. DO BETTER FOR A NEW PLACE OR YOU'RE NOT GONNA BE AROUND HERE VERY LONG, if i could give negative 5...
