A few top spots in Miami… This vegan foodie 🙋🏻‍♀️ left Florida with a full and happy belly 🙌 Featured in the video: - Casa Tua - I literally go to this place for lunch every time I’m in town…the open Italian kitchen offers a ton of choices, including some of the best salads I’ve ever had. The man loves their salmon crudo and thin-crust pizza. - Ceviche 105 — This is one of those Peruvian restaurants where EVERYTHING is tasty, including the Pisco cocktails. - Marion — If you want to see waiters dancing on tables and enjoy that Old Hollywood, 1920s French vibe, this is your spot. The menu is a mix of New-American Asian Fusion and their handcrafted cocktails are delish. - Dreamer — If you’re like me and enjoy healthy, veggie wraps, avocado toast and fresh coconut water, this is the perfect lunch spot. - Kyu — I dare you to go here and tell me that you don’t LOVE their food...this place is known for their BBQ, but let me tell you, as a vegan, there are plenty of modifications that will make your mouth water. - Juicense — If you’re a fan of fueling up with fresh, organic, clean foods, this place is a must. I’m 💯 aligned with their philosophy that “food is medicine,” so and if you want to detox, boost your immunity or energy, go here! - Le Roy Rene - if you’re interested in an indulgent treat, this French confectionery offers some tasty gelato and very pretty packaged sweets. This is the first time I tried a cone made with activated charcoal and I can honestly say it was good (activated charcoal is believed to be detoxifying). Their raspberry gelato is super flavorful and one scoop curbed my sweet tooth. *Updated Review * Updating my previous review from three stars to five stars.

My partner and I recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at this restaurant, and I feel compelled to revise my initial review based on a remarkable turn of events.

Initially, our experience was tarnished by an unfortunate encounter with the male host. His cold demeanor and lack of acknowledgment made us question our choice of venue. However, I am pleased to share that the restaurant took swift and sincere action to address this issue.

In an unexpected and highly appreciated gesture, the restaurant's management personally reached out to us to apologize for the behavior of the host. They conveyed their genuine concern and went to great lengths to ensure that our future visits would be nothing short of exceptional. This level of commitment and customer care truly impressed us.

As hospitality professionals ourselves, we understand that every establishment can have its hiccups, but what truly sets a place apart is its willingness to learn and improve. The fact that the restaurant not only acknowledged their misstep but also took proactive measures to rectify the situation speaks volumes about their dedication to providing an outstanding dining experience.

Our subsequent visit reaffirmed our faith in this establishment. The food was as exquisite as before, and the ambiance continued to enchant us. Moreover, the staff's warmth and attentiveness throughout the evening showcased a remarkable transformation.

In light of the restaurant's sincere efforts and our renewed positive experience, I am more than happy to give this establishment a well-deserved five-star rating. It's clear that they value their patrons and are committed to delivering excellence in every aspect of their service.

We look forward to returning to this restaurant in the future and commend their dedication to continuous improvement. Kudos to the entire team for their exceptional work, and thank you for making our anniversary celebration truly memorable.

As an out-of-town couple celebrating our wedding anniversary, we had high expectations for this restaurant, especially given its glowing recommendations from our clients. The food and ambiance certainly lived up to the hype, providing a delightful dining experience.

However, our initial encounter with the male host left much to be desired. From the moment we stepped in, his demeanor was cold and distant, and he barely acknowledged our presence. It was disheartening to see him more engrossed with his iPad than making us feel welcome.

What was particularly disappointing was the condescending attitude and vibe he projected towards us. His lack of engagement and dismissive behavior made us feel unwanted and unworthy of proper attention, leaving a sour note at the beginning of our special evening.

Despite this unpleasant encounter, the rest of the staff made commendable efforts to make our anniversary celebration special. The decorations on the table were lovely, and we appreciated the complimentary dessert.

As hospitality professionals ourselves, we understand the significance of first impressions, and unfortunately, the host's behavior significantly affected our overall perception of the establishment.

Improving the training and attitude of the front-of-house staff, especially the male host, would go a long way in enhancing the dining experience...

Overall a super weird and disappointing experience.

I’ve never experienced such terrible service at a restaurant ever, until now. My friend and I ordered our food at the same time, she said “I’ll have the salmon” and when it came my turn to order I asked the waiter which pasta he liked best from two options I was trying to decide between, to which I ended up picking the one he favored. Maybe like 20-25 minutes pass by and my friend receives her food, she wanted to wait for me to receive mine, but I told her to begin as I was sure it would be coming up in no time.

After 35-40 minutes of just watching her eat without having my meal they finally come with my food…she was already done with her food and mind you she was eating very very slow. And when they come, they bring both pastas? I’m not sure if he misunderstood, and thought I order both??? But they just ended up taking back the one I didn’t order.

So now my friend has to watch me eat, and it’s just the weirdest experience because we’ve never had to ‘take turns’ eating. After like another half hour of finishing my meal, we had to get the waiters attention because he hadn’t even come around to ask if everything was alright, if we needed our drinks to be refilled, or if we needed anything else (there was only 3 other parties around us, so I can’t even say he must have felt overwhelmed).

After getting my check, I was astounded when I saw the bill. There was an extra $15 service charge (which they most definitely weren’t gonna get) and an extra $10 charge that I didn’t know what was for, and after asking, they told me it was water??? At the beginning when they asked me if I wanted anything to drink in the meantime while waiting on my friend, I said some water would be good…didn’t even ask what type of water, which I was alright with because I’m ok with tap water.

This was the first and hopefully the only time I’ve had to call over a manager, which I had to ask for through 2 people? The first time I asked one of the waiters if I could speak to the manager, and this man comes up to us and asks us if everything was alright and I explained to him how disappointed I was with the service thinking he was the manager, and then he said “alright I’ll call over the manager”…? I thought that was so weird. Afterwards, we explained again, and he said he would take off a couple charges, which was the service fee and the water. Although I feel like the whole meal should have been on the house or at half the price for having to wait so long, and not even getting to eat our meals at the same time, but I just didn’t want to be that person as I was already uncomfortable enough having to call over the manager, and didn’t want to keep dragging this on. The pasta was great, but not enough for me to come back and receive such poor service.

Overall, just thought it was so unprofessional of them and lacking of care and effort, because this spot is on the pricier side, so you would have expected great service and...

I'll start by saying that I rarely write reviews, especially positive ones, but I really want to share this experience.

Previously, we visited this place twice without a reservation, but unfortunately, there were no available tables.

This time, we were prepared and booked a table in advance for July 20 at Casa Tua for our anniversary. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were politely asked to wait 5 minutes and then seated on the terrace. It wasn’t very hot on the terrace as there were fans. The table had 3 roses and petals around them. The terrace creates a pleasant impression with a large number of plants and nice lighting. We have been to many Italian restaurants in Miami, but only here my wife noted: "Finally, we feel like we are in Italy."

The prices seem high by default: we had tuna tartare for $42, burrata for $37, and seafood spaghetti for $60. But I must say, this price is fully justified! The burrata is brought from Italy, and you can taste the difference. Besides, it is served not with regular tomatoes but with slightly cooked ones, and this temperature difference plays a fantastic role in the dish. We love burrata, but it was hard to find a tasty one in Miami. The tartare was fresh and delicious, although the portion was small. The spaghetti was amazing. A large portion with plenty of seafood. And the pasta! I haven't had pasta like this since our last trip to Italy. I’m sure it’s made in-house at this restaurant. At the end, we ordered ice cream, which the chef makes every morning (the flavor changes daily). We got stracciatella, but in addition to our order, they brought us homemade tiramisu as a complimentary anniversary treat - it was extremely pleasant and incredibly delicious!

I particularly want to mention our waiter - Jordan, without whom we wouldn't have had such a great experience. Jordan, if you see this - thank you so much for the best service in Miami. He was friendly, unobtrusive, and told us a lot about the dishes and special offers, appearing exactly when needed. His team, when we asked for something, didn’t say they weren’t waiters and would call Jordan, but took our requests and passed them on to him or the kitchen.

I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you have a romantic occasion or simply want to immerse...
