Purchased refrigerator 11/2024. Delivered 11/30 at 11am and there was a lot of damage on the side of the refrigerator that we weren’t made aware of upon purchasing. And i mean, deep scrapes, deep dents, totally not the “new” condition we were under the assumption we were getting. We contacted the store at 11:10am to let them know we wanted to reject this purchase and either exchange or get our old refrigerator and money back. GM immediately refused to handle anything and said DM would reach out Monday. He did not so i contacted president line Tuesday. Ryan calls back (DM), tells me he will locate a replacement for us immediately. A few days go by and Ryan finds a replacement that is not what we were looking for. So we said no and he continued looking. Located another that we agreed on and he said it would be shipped to OH from CO so it would be a couple days. We wait a week and start reaching out and have several unanswered calls and texts before Ryan texts us to tell us refrigerator is delayed due to weather. Then we hear nothing for another week. We continue reaching out and Ryan finally messages us at 11pm being extremely unprofessional and accusatory saying we’re basically trying to scam them. So i ask him to have someone else reach out. James (RM) contacts my husband, apologizes and issues a credit and says go pick out a fridge. We do and it gets delivered 1/9 at 8pm. The refrigerator did not work, had no power or anything. Told us a tech would be out next day. Tech comes out to replace mother board on “new” refrigerator. Lights work so we assume it’s good. Put groceries in it and overnight our entire fridge stops cooling and ruins all our food. We contact James and are told they’ll find a replacement. Today 1/14/25 after another group of ignored messages, James tells us he’s no longer with the company, we still have not gotten a call from anyone else, no one will answer our calls or can helps us and we’re out $1000 for a refrigerator, $200 in groceries, our original refrigerator and a non working refrigerator in our home and no one will...
Read moreI originally went to Lowes to purchase a replacement dishwasher. I was quoted a price, and there was $149 marked for install. After purchasing I was told that the install could be closer to $250 as they "had to pull permits". My comment - it's plug and play. Nothing to do but remove old, put in new. No remodeling, just replacement. I sat on that for a couple weeks (because of course there was a 6 week wait). Went in to Appliance Factory on a whim. I drive by them several times a week and to be honest I didn't think they were reputable. Not a flashy showroom, nothing special about them WOW WAS I WRONG. From the first step in the building I was treated as a valued customer. I was shown my options, we discussed delivery/install and I was given a flat rate of $140. She even saved me about $150 because I purchased a "dent" product - the dent is the size of a dime and in the side covered by the cabinet - you can't see a thing,. Install took care of removing old, putting in new, getting rid of the garbage. I couldn't believe it how much I saved and the customer service they were showing me. . I had to reschedule due to my schedule conflict, and they were super accommodating. They arrived when they said, install person was pleasant, clean, polite and all the things you look for when allowing a stranger into your home. FANTASTIC JOB. Since they were so wonderful when I went in, I also replaced my washer, Samantha listened to what I needed, (same as she did with the dishwasher) found the model which was perfect. A different delivery person brought the washer and they were as wonderful as the dishwasher installer. I would recommend this group for any appliance purchase you need. OH YES - wondering about my cancellation at Lowes - they didn't ask why, could they do something to sway my decision - didn't care. We had been shopping around for a refrigerator for a while, but because of the size restrictions that we had we were just finding the same one model at every store we went to. We finally sat in the car and googled appliance stores and came across the appliance factory. We are so glad that we did! First of all, they had a bigger selection than any of the other places that we had gone to. Second, the entire staff was friendly and excellent to work with. They were very knowledgeable and not at all pushy. Our salesman was Mark Morgan and he was awesome. I noticed the rest of the staff supported him and helped him as he was working with us, I love a business where the staff really works as a team. Mark showed us a model that no one else had that was a general electric and exactly what we were looking for. He found that at the warehouse they had a scratch and dent model with a barely noticeable scratch in the black color that we wanted, and he gave us a great deal on it. We went ahead and got it sight unseen, and when it was delivered today we can’t even find the scratch! The next 5 star service was delivery. They were great about giving us tracking info. And the delivery guys were fabulous. They were friendly, knowledgeable, kind, professional, and left our house just like they found it. We will definitely be a return...
