Kahn did such an amazing job on my wedding dress! I brought my dress to her not knowing how much work it actually needed. Kahn was very transparent and explained to me all my options and tried her best to work with my budget. I had brought my dress in just in the nick of time as well considering all the work that needed done to it.

My dress needed hemmed, tucked in the back, shoulders, sides, under the arms, throughout both sleeves, and needed a 7 point bustle added. My dress also had 5 layers of fabric on the bottom and tons of lace and beading throughout. Kahn was able to carefully and seamlessly remove and hand stitch all the lace and beading back onto my dress to ensure that my dress fit me perfectly. Kahn was also able to have my dress ready to pick up two weeks earlier than planned!

When I brought my dress in for my first consultation appt with Kahn, I was starting to feel like maybe I didn’t like my dress that I picked out. But when I picked up my dress after Kahn worked her magic on it, I fell in love with my dress all over again. It fit absolutely perfectly and made me feel so beautiful and comfortable. I instantly felt that much more excited for our big day!

I even asked Kahn to save the scraps of my wedding dress so that I could do something crafty with them later on and she remembered to save them for me!

I truly can’t recommend Kahn enough! She did such a fabulous job and was so transparent and helpful throughout the whole process.

To all the future brides out there, just know your dress will be in great hands...

I was in the first dressing room with the curtains closed when I heard Alan West come into HT Tailor. While I can understand his frustration, I believe there was a misunderstanding. The owner told me, and other patrons who came in while I was there, how much work she had to do before she left for vacation. She was not complaining by any means, but was only mentioning all the garments that she needed to complete before she left and how busy she was because her assistant was already on vacation.

Mr. West may have missed it but there is a sign on the door which states that the store will be closed beginning 6/18. If I heard correctly, Mr. West wanted his garment back by next Saturday, which is 6/17. I understand as a consumer when you need something turned around quickly, but also understand the back story and why she told him that it would take 4 weeks. I dropped off my items two weeks ago and was in the store today for my fitting (which is why I was in the dressing room with the curtains closed). If she wasn't down an assistant and not closing next week for vacation, I am sure Mr. West would have had a totally different experience.

In regards to the alterations made on my garments (a suit and a formal dress), she did a phenomenal job! The owner was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the alterations that were needed to make the garments fit just the way I wanted. I will most certainly frequent her business for my future needs and will refer others to her as well. She has gained a life long...

Khanh and I had quite the journey together. It all started when I ordered a wedding dress online, that looked very different from online picture to what I received. I thought maybe with some alterations it could be fixed. I took said dress to HT Tailor and instead of saying yes and taking my money she spent almost half an hour going into detail of all that would need to be done and that even if all that done, the dress could never look like the original picture of the dress I thought I had purchased. The fabric did don’t match and the fit was very wrong. She also did advised me that it would be money better spent looking for a better option than spending so much to completely redo a dress. I really appreciated this, because had I gone somewhere else I don’t think I would have been so lucky, they would have probably just taken my money and ultimately I would not been satisfied with the dress that I got. This led me to finding a new and different dress, and I am so glad that this happened, because it was the right dress and the right fit for me. Truly night and day from the original dress. I took this new dress back to HT Tailor for alterations and she truly did a perfect job alternating it. I will always appreciate her attention to detail, her honesty and her craftsmanship. You are truly in excellent hands here.
