What a horrible experience dealing with the management of this property. I didn’t end up staying and was so disgusted with everything. They were unkind, unhelpful, and would not refund anything. Before I arrived, I asked a couple of questions about where I could store my luggage since I was arriving in Miami much earlier than check in time. I didn’t realize that there was nowhere to keep bags. And I was going to have the same problem the next day because check out was much earlier than I needed to leave. There was no suggestion about what to do with my bags or any concern with my issue. No effort to help what was more than a serious inconvenience for me that I was not made aware of when I booked. They refused any kind of early check in or check out, as though they were not understanding human beings. I felt like I was dealing with bots. They just kept citing their policies, even though they never made clear that there was no where to keep bags. I asked for a cancellation because this did not work for me at all. They refused because it was their ‘policy’ and that I was told what time check in/out were. They wouldn’t budge one bit. Over and over, I heard the same thing without any concern for my comfort with the situation. All they cared about was their money. I ended up booking another hotel because this place was not going to work given their ‘policies’ and failure to address the significant issue that guests would have regarding luggage. I then asked if they would refund me my one-night stay if they were able to fill the room and they said no. Policies. I checked into my other hotel, but given that I already paid for this place, I went to check it out. I am so glad I didn’t stay there because the area didn’t even feel safe and the place next-door looked condemned. (See pic) There were roosters all over that would’ve woke me up in the morning. I also would not have been comfortable walking around there at night.
Ironically, they ask that you take care of their designer stuff, but it’s not that nice at all. Once I saw it and sent pics of the condition of some of the things in the room, I asked if they would be willing to give me some sort of refund because things were not in good shape at all AND I wasn’t staying. See pics. They said nothing. At the end of the day, I would never consider staying here again, and you shouldn’t either. Be careful about fake reviews for this place and the fact that someone is taking your money but handing out entry codes from afar—no one gives a crap about your comfort, safety, or Travel needs. They’re not willing to help you one bit or accommodate you in any way. Cheap place that looks ok in their pictures but is really crummy in real life. Like...
Read moreDO NOT STAY HERE. I stayed here, and let me tell you, it was an experience I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the overwhelming sense of danger in the neighborhood. The motel itself felt like a last resort rather than a place to spend one night to sleep before a cruise. I was treated to the symphony of car alarms blaring in the middle of the night, echoing through the paper-thin walls like a constant reminder that I was not safe. And just when I thought it couldn’t get worse, the roosters began their relentless crowing at 5 AM, providing a rude awakening and consistent attack against trying to sleep that continued until well past 9 AM. It felt as if the rooster was in the room with me because the walls are so thin. As for the bathroom, it was an absolute joke. The shower was barely a foot wide, making it impossible to wash without feeling like I was in a sardine can. When I reached out to the management to express my concerns, I was met with a dismissive attitude. Rather than acknowledging the issues, they deflected responsibility, insisting that the roosters were simply part of the local culture. This lack of accountability was disheartening and made me feel even more trapped in a situation I couldn't escape.
By the end of my stay, I was not only sleep-deprived but also mentally drained. The combination of safety concerns, incessant noise, and poor accommodations made for a truly miserable experience. If you're considering this motel, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. There are far better options in Miami that won't leave you feeling anxious...
Read moreReview:I arrived at 7:00 AM and found no staff, no reception, and no check-in instructions. My wife and I had to wait outside until another guest happened to come out and let us in. Inside, I met someone who I thought was staff, but he was just another guest. He tried to help me contact the hotel, but no one — not even other guests — could reach the manager. There is no real lobby, just a yard. I waited three hours outside until someone finally responded. Then I was told I couldn’t check in until 3:00 PM unless I paid $100 extra. That’s way more than most hotels charge for early check-in which is about 20$. I asked for a refund so I could leave — they refused. With no choice, I left my luggage with the housekeeper (the only helpful person) and had to walk around the city with my wife for six hours before coming back. When I finally checked in, I just got a text message with a door code — no person, no welcome. The room had lots of bugs, and both of us got bitten badly overnight. There were even cockroaches in the kitchen. This is not a real hotel. It’s overpriced, poorly managed, and has no customer service. Avoid if you care about basic...
