I was a customer for years before Covid. I loved the lounge, the service, selection and café cubano. It was great to smoke with friends, talk and listen to the great music they played. I had not been by since Covid and finally had the opportunity today. I entered the shop and the shop had changed. The sitting area was gone and was more retail space. I had to ask to go behind the rope of the cigars and was told by the young lady that we don’t sell Cuban cigars and if I knew what I wanted. I let the questions slide and entered the cigar rows. I found a cigar to smoke, paid for it, cut and lit it. I went to the chairs in the back that were still there with ashtrays. The other young lady working came over after a few minutes of smoking and told me they NO LONGER ALLOW SMOKING IN THE SHOP!! No signage ANYWHERE informing the new policy, but still had seats with ashtrays. I just paid for my lit cigar and then was told I couldn’t smoke in the shop. A lot has changed in this 2 block area of Calle Ocho. The shop was one place U could always count on. No longer! I’ll make sure I tell my friends and visitors who ask about a good cigar shop about others that I know and avoid Calle Ocho...
Read moreWhat a gem in the middle of Little Havana! I live in NYC, but I had been told this was THE place to go in Miami to find a great variety of cigars, and I am happy I listened. I came to visit some friends in Miami and we decided to go to the Little Havana Cigar Factory. Outside, the store feels very much part of Little Havana. But inside, the decoration, the colors and the cigar aroma, are breathtaking. From the moment you walk in the door you feel transported into a universe of refined taste and outstanding customer service. The staff is absolutely amazing. I was received by the manager, Mario, who showed me and my friends around. I love cigars, I was so happy to see the great variety and price range. They have very nice lighters and other accessories as well. Mario was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had. I found a cigar I had been looking for, and decided to smoke one right there. Heaven! And my friends who do not enjoy cigars so much, could drink an espresso, and drink a glass of port while looking at me smile. Going to the shop turned into a great evening. I bought a few cigars I am still enjoying back at home in NYC. Looking forward to...
Read moreMe and my friend was in the shop around February after a cigar event in West palms. While we were looking at all the cigars that were roped off the sales associate that was there kind of ignored us and asked these two ladies if they need help as they were on the phone facetiming with their husband's. The guy kind of frustrated steps away so me and my buddy recommended a few cigars that were on the budget side (looking after the consumer you know bang for your buck) they guy rushed over to us and said that these guys don't work here, they know nothing of cigars, and they need to talk to only him. We recommend 10 dollar cigars but he pushed 25 dollar cigars on them. I had a bad experience at this shop and I typically give people second chances but I will never return to this shop because of how...
