Wynwood Walls

What a fantastic and memorable experience! From the second we arrived to the ticketing area the staff greeted us, made us feel welcome and showed us how to get our tickets from the machines. The lady talked us through our options and as we are really interested in the stories and the history around these things, we easily chose to go for the guided tour. Our guide was Carlos and he was absolutely amazing, he was incredibly knowledgable about the whole history of Wynwood Walls and the area, and he spoke to us in detail about literally every single wall of art and the artist who created it. He was engaging with everyone in the group and we learned so much as a result. To anyone who is considering visiting Wynwood Walls, we highly recommend that you take the guided tour as it really makes the whole experience way more meaningful. And, once you've finished the actual tour, go and experience Wynwood itself, we took a walk around the streets and just took random turnings, there are so many great restaurants, bars, cafes, boutique shops and you name it, more art adorning the Walls of buildings and other public spaces, there are messages on the sidewalks, you see lampposts decorated with art - Wynwood is such a cool place to go and immerse yourself in and we will 100% be coming back, we love everything it stands for!
