It’s interesting place, but don’t expect too much. I heard a lot about it before visiting, mainly that it’s the art district. And it is. The murals can be found everywhere. They look amazing. There are couple good restaurants , wynwood marketplace which I recommend to visit. It looks like the developers needed to promote the area to make it more prestigious and injected some art into the district. If you have 5-7 days in Miami - you can add it to the list of your visits.

Read moreIt has been about 10 years since I have visited Wynwood. It definitely has changed since that time. It still has the cool graffiti and locally owned galleries and businesses, but now it also has condos, and big chain stores. Some warehouses still remain so it doesn't have the gleaming, shiny vibe prevalent in Miami's business district, so that keeps it interesting. I do forsee it eventually growing and homogenizing into a typical neighborhood, so in 10 more years nothing of the original cool vibe that drew crowds...
