5+Star Burger Restaurant Review for La Birra Bar
Wynnewood, Miami
La Birra Bar in Wynnewood, Miami, is nothing short of a burger lover’s paradise, delivering an unparalleled dining experience with a taste of Argentina that deserves every bit of its glowing reputation. Ask for Stephanie and Austin for your servers. They will guide you to the best burger selection for your taste buds and paired birra.
And yes, out the 70 countries I have enjoyed eating burgers in, this is the Best Burger, I have ever enjoyed Worldwide. Warning: It's deliciousness makes it highly addictive. A taste-bud orgasm!
From the moment you step into this vibrant, sleek spot at 250 NW 24th St, the atmosphere buzzes with creativity and warmth, perfectly reflecting Wynnewood’s artistic spirit. The music is cool and old school.
The story goes that Chef Danny's hypnotic delicious creations spread by word of mouth resulting in 14 Argentinian locations, 5 in Florida, and also in Spain and Chile. You have to really know delicious burgers to pull that type of local and global chain expansion.
The decor, with its modern touches featuring Argentine soccer legend Lionel Messi and the Messi jersey, sets the stage for a meal that’s as visually delightful as it is delicious. The menu is a masterclass in craft burgers, showcasing the family’s 20-year legacy of burger perfection from Buenos Aires, and you know the Argentinians love their beef cuts and burgers perfect
I was suggested the award winning “Golden Burger,” and it was a revelation. The hand-chopped Argentine beef patties were juicy, perfectly seared, and bursting with flavor. The bun—hand-kneaded and baked fresh daily—was a magical balance of fluffy and buttery, holding everything together without stealing the show.
The sides were equally impressive. The potato fries were crispy yet tender, with just the right hint of sweetness and light spice. The menu also features a wide variety of other sides, sweet potatoe fries, mozzarella sticks and onion rings just to name a few more.
Pairing the meal with an ice-cold craft Argentinian "Goat 10" beer from their well-curated selection was the perfect complement, and the bar’s laid-back yet attentive vibe made sipping and savoring a joy.
My servers, Stefanie and Austin, were very familiar with the family owned chain's history and choices. Their service was impeccable—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food. The staff’s enthusiasm was infectious, making me feel like I was part of the La Birra family.
Wynwood has notorious parking challenges since the area is very popular. Best to Uber or Lyft there. Yet, the experience is so phenomenal that it is worth every second of the hunt for a spot.
La Birra Bar lives up to its bold claim of serving the “Best Burger in the World.” With awards like the People’s Choice at South Beach Wine & Food Festival’s Burger Bash and Miami New Times’ Best Burger titles, this place is a must-visit for anyone craving a burger experience while in Miami, and particularly in Wynnewood, that’s equal parts art and indulgence. I’m already counting down to...
Read moreMy taste buds are still singing after my recent visit to La Birra Bar in the heart of Miami's vibrant Wynwood neighborhood. Nestled amidst the kaleidoscope of street art and creative energy, this place isn't just a burger joint; it's an experience. The location itself is a major draw. Wynwood's electric atmosphere, with its larger-than-life murals and bustling crowds, perfectly complements the casual, lively vibe of the restaurant. There's a certain magic to enjoying a gourmet burger while surrounded by so much visual inspiration.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the Italian burger. From the first bite to the last, it was an absolute revelation. The patty was cooked to perfection, juicy and tender, but what truly set it apart was the symphony of flavors. It wasn't just a burger with some Italian toppings; it was a carefully crafted masterpiece. The combination of ingredients created a rich, savory, and utterly addictive taste that I can't wait to go back for.
Adding to the already stellar experience was the incredible bonus I received. I was able to verify my unique humanness across the street at the World Flagship site, and in return, I was gifted a free burger. It's a clever and fun way to engage with the community and a gesture that made my visit even more memorable. It's not every day you get a free, gourmet meal for simply being you!
La Birra Bar is more than just a place to grab a bite; it's a destination. The delicious food, the energetic atmosphere, and the unique location in Wynwood make it a must-visit. Whether you're a local or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by for a burger that's as much a work of art as the neighborhood it's in. I'm already planning my next trip back to try another one of...

I visited La Birra Bar in Wynwood today and left with very mixed feelings. Having tried three other popular burger spots in the area the same day, this was by far the most expensive—and unfortunately, the least satisfying.
Let’s start with the good. The burger had some redeeming qualities: the sauce, buns, and cheese were all excellent. It was cooked exactly the temp I asked for. The fries were a highlight—a unique mix between wedges and standard fries, thick-cut, well-seasoned, and perfectly flaky. They arrived piping hot and were a great addition to the meal. I also appreciated the rare inclusion of a fountain soda machine, which many burger spots in the area lack.
Now, the bad. The patty itself was underwhelming—bland and under-seasoned, which is a major letdown for a place that charges a premium price. For a burger to justify being much more expensive than its competition, it needs to shine across the board, and this one simply didn’t.
The biggest downside, however, was the 20% automatic gratuity. For a counter-order, self-service establishment to add that without transparency or an option to opt out is frustrating. I checked the menu and signage and couldn’t find any mention of this policy, which made it feel deceptive. Combined with the already high prices, it left a bad taste in my mouth.
Overall, La Birra Bar is mid-tier at best. While the fries and a few elements of the burger were good, they don’t justify the steep prices or hidden fees. If you’re looking for great burgers in Wynwood, there are better (and more reasonably priced)...
