Decently clean store. Could have given 5 stars, had the lady that helped us out with unlocking a game, checked us out in the back instead of taking the game all the way to the customer service and I had to wait for the customer service line to go down while my grandma was in line to check out with hers and my stuff. Also, since when does Meijer no longer give damaged box discounts (10% off). Last time I had a damaged box they gave me at least that percentage off just in case the item was damaged on the inside. You never know the conditions these products are going to be in when you open a damaged box. And not to mention the box/product I had was the last one on the shelf. I don't like having to travel back out to return things, unless it doesn't work completely. So I took a chance and bought it. Luckily it worked, but didn't know until 2 weeks later when it was opened as a Christmas gift (another reason I was worried it could've been damaged). The cashiers need to learn a tad bit more manners, as the one that we got was a tad sassy when it came to asking about that, and asking about a price match to where a game was located. (and you know these games didn't just get "put there" because they were locked onto the peg, therefore worker error). Other than that, the store was decently clean, and the lady that was at customer service was decent to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBy far the lousiest location, rudest customer service, particularly the weak minded, unkempt little troll named Mark who works the checklames (not a typo). This idiot is so busy paying attention to everything else around him and playing with his coworkers instead of DOING HIS JOB, that when that fun little red light goes off to have Meijer essentially call every customer a THIEF by having you stand there while captain super sleuth watches a video of you... IN FRONT OF YOU.... SCANNING YOUR PURCHASES (because, let's be honest here Meijer, the people SCANNING THEIR PURCHASES are NOT the ones STEALING from your store... I'd check the stock room cams, js) it is MORE than infuriating it is down right INSULTING. And I for one am DONE spending quite literally HUNDREDS of dollars a WEEK in a store that EVERY time has that stupid red light go off to have some minimum wage jack wagon make sure I am "on the up and up"?! No I don't think so. Hopefully enough people feel this way enough to watch this particular store tank.
Oh, and Mark, when you asked me "what do you want me to do about it?" Not a thing, except find another job as hopefully the corporate complaint I filed will find you lacking employment soon after.
You really shouldn't speak to a paying customer like that, Mark.
Incredibly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAllow me to explain the two stars: Ordered groceries for pickup,- when my husband picked up the order he was told several things were āout of stockā. ( which we TOTALLY UNDERSTAND) but coincidentally, I went IN the store the next day to find shelves pretty well stocked with majority of items we had originally ordered. The girl who brought out the groceries told my husband they had absolutely zero olive oil. But the next day, it looked pretty well stocked to me. (See attached photo) The point here is,- this person clearly lied in order to avoid running around the store to find our items. ( Other items I found mysteriously suddenly āin stockā included, salt, Romain lettuce, frozen pizza, Iāve cream, oranges) Just weird. Five stars For every in person shopping experience though. Iām always greeted, store is clean and everyone is always very nice and helpful. Itās too bad in this pandemic that you canāt have that five star quality for your grocery pick-up. Imagine the large amount of people who will never enter the store during this time. Stating over half the grocery list is āout of stockā really feeds into the whole fear propaganda thing. Just something to...
