Armada By-The-Sea — Hotel in Wildwood Crest

My husband and I stayed for a weekend last August, the staff was amazing even with some issues they were having. Seriously the owners seem very dictated to running a great business. The night we got there it was raining harder than I ever seen before for hours, there were some issues with leaks. The staff was absolutely amazing and even with the stress of what they were going to have to repair they still checked on us multiple times to see if we needed anything. On Saturday we went to the boardwalk and while there the owner called to tell us she was refunding our entire weekend because of the issues. I would have never asked for a refund because we could tell that this was a rare occurrence. Mind you our room was still able to be stayed in, it was not as affected as other rooms so we were really surprised that they even offered to do that. So for me it was just another sign that the owners really care about the people staying with them. We stayed that night and headed home Sunday, as we were leaving the construction company was already there getting started on the renovations. I would 100% recommend staying here. This year's weekend away is coming up and we tried to book with Armada but they were already booked through the Summer 😢. So we won't be staying this Summer but will for sure book extra early next year to be able to stay with them next Summer and hope to do so for years to come. I never leave reviews and meant to leave one last Summer, searching for this Summer's stay reminded me that I hadn't so it may be a year later but still impressed with how the staff and owners run...

My wife and I, our in-laws and nieces and nephews have made Armada By The Sea our summer vacation haven every year since 2016! The property is always well kept and clean, the rooms are comfortable and clean and have been upgraded recently. The rooms we use have LCD flat screen TVs with cable, a refrigerator, electric stove and oven, electric coffee pot and toaster, a microwave, service ware for the whole family, and free Wi-Fi! The office staff is friendly and accommodating, as are the room service staff. The heated pool and the deck are cleaned daily, and there are plenty of chairs, tables and lounges for all. Several decks, one with an awning and tables, allow the family to eat together outdoors, and the outdoor gas grill is great for burgers, hotdogs and steaks! Located right off the beach, a few minute walk to the ocean and surf make it the perfect motel for both beach and pool lovers! Situated across from Centennial Park, you have front row seats for the concerts held there, and easy access to the Zumba classes held during the week. Several bicycle rental shops are within walking distance. The award winning Wildwood Boardwalk is just north, a short trip by car, or a great location to jog or bicycle to in the mornings. RioGrande Ave, one mile north, has many restaurants, gas stations, fast food shops. There are several miniature golf and ice cream shops nearby as well as supermarkets and drug stores and a highly rated urgent care facility. We also try to stay when they open in the Spring now as well! I highly recommend...

If you are lucky enough to get into the Armada - grab it. Me and my family have been going to Wildwood Crest for over 30 years. We use to stay at another hotel but over the years the owner did not keep up with it so we decided to move on. We checked out a bunch of other places and once we saw the Armada we knew this was where we wanted to stay. This hotel is spotless, they even scrub the concrete walk way outside of the rooms. The staff spends hours cleaning the pool and the area around it every night. The staff is so nice, the owners are extremely friendly and very accommodating. We book our room before we leave for the following year to make sure we get back there. You will not be disappointed. I see all the reviews are wonderful except one. I have no idea what that person is talking about, I'm wondering if he or she is referring to a different place. The clientele at the Armada is really nice. We've met so many nice people. The location is perfect - its the only hotel that is South facing and does not have a hotel in front of it. You look out over a beautiful field where they host concerts every Wednesday and Saturday.
