I saw the price sign for $10 v neck shirts that come 3 in a boxes so I picked up 3 boxes, 2 black and one white. When I went to the lady cashier, she told me it was the wrong prices,it was $19.99, and was told to go speak to the manager. I had to step out from the line and to go addressed with the manager where she at, the Return. I asked if they could honor their mistakes, but Dana, the manager, her excuse that someone put the wrong price sign or put it mistakenly. It printed clearly. The clerk lady says that Dana can only honor one box. Does it make any sense to honor one? When I already had 3 boxes in my hands, it not that I went back and got more shirts just thinking the price was wrong by their mistake or even trying to take advantage of it. I even went to take a picture to prove them. (see picture below)How petty is that! It is not one box, the MANAGER'S pathetic excuse, blaming someone who put the wrong sign or wrong price even doesn't justify for common sense, what happen to the golden rule? Customer always right! Oh, I forgot I didn't shop at Sears or the manager doesn'tknow what Sears was back then, so it doesn't apply for their petty and pathetic excuses fromCostco in Milford, CT. The receipt shows 3 void were bought, not one on the same items, so why only honor 1? That was the petty. The pathetic excuse was blaming someone and not taking the responsibility to apologize for their mistake. It was printed clearly with description and hung right on top of the items' shirts.

Costco is a great place for the middle-class lifestyle where we stock up On things we don’t need it. I guess there are exceptions. At this Costco you could get a huge bottle of vodka for $11.89; this bottle normally last me three days. Casco is a place for explorers because you can find new products especially food products that are not sold elsewhere. For example I just picked up some Norwegian bread. I believe Costco gets these things for members before they become mainstream. Costco has some of the best electronica deals. I got the five camera Arlo pro two 2 set for $300 less than Amazon. If you find deals like these by them immediately as they sell out that day. There are a few overlooked things at Costco. One is their gift certificates. You can get gift certificates here for local restaurants for a very good price. The second is there $1.50 hotdogs. Don’t judge but I love them. I am a pathetic person and I finally have a “pro tip” for Costco. The gasoline lines have extended hoses so you don’t have to pull up on the gas side of your car .they will reach around to either side people will get in line and wait for 20 minutes thinking they have to get to the right side. This was dictated from my phone sorry for any grammar mistakes.

We’ve lived all over the country including Canada, so have shopped at many Costco’s. This store is my least favourite for 2 main reasons : they intentionally do not hire baggers / boxers to help reload your groceries and every time I ask why there’s no assistance I’m informed that the manager is very frugal and this keeps their profits higher, whatever the reason I find it daunting to reload my monthly Costco haul for a large family. Secondly : the optical department is chronically understaffed and I have literally waited for 3 hours waiting to purchase glasses and then promptly at 5pm the entire staff turned off the lights and left all of us. Last night there was a sign that the Optical department would be closing early at 6pm and I showed up at 5:58 to purchase contacts and no one was around. I am back today to purchase the same contacts and there’s another sign say in the Optical Department will be closing early at 5pm. I arrived at 2pm and it’s now 3pm and I’m using the time to leave this informative review. What’s up with the management at this Costco ???

Adding another review below as I am unable to review the same store again.

First and foremost let me say that we love this Costco and their entire team. It’s a 5 star all the time going by my experience with them past 16 years. But Today 04/20/2023, I’d like to share the experience that happened last September 2022 (not sure about the exact date/month, shall edit later the exact date/time). So after getting new Bridgestone Turanza Quietrack tires installed on my Honda Accord, I brought the car back (around evening time 6:30)after around 4000 miles for balancing and rotation. As usual they took down my phone number so they can let me know when it is all set. So after almost an hour and a half wait, I go back to the Tire center and the technician tells me that they haven’t done anything because it was not due for rotation as it had not driven the required miles( around 5000) and that he had been trying to contact me to which I reply that I didn’t receive any call and try to show him the call log, then when he cross checks my number, seems that he has been calling a different number/someone else’s and definitely not mine. In frustration over waiting almost 2 hours after driving all the way from home to Costco on a weekend evening, i felt really bad that despite the inconvenience caused to me, the technician sounded very unprofessional and unpleasant instead of being apologetic which is what is expected of good customer service. Anyway I took my vehicle back and after 2-3 days as I was passing by the same Costco store on Post Road, Milford, CT , after filling gas when I went to fill up air, to my shock I see that the front tires were inflated around 67psi, whereas the required psi on a Highway driven hot tire is supposed to be only 4 psi more than the required 32psi. I immediately wanted to go in and enquire/inform/complain but didn’t as ai was in a hurry and didn’t want to waste time over that then. Today I happened to speak to Town fair tire technician and explained this to him, he said that I was lucky that the tire didn’t blow out and cause an accident on the highway, he said because they were new tires, nothing of that sort happened and that I was lucky. So this is the reason why I am posting this review today. For that technician (a senior person) for that act of over-inflating the tires out of whatever reason towards me, I’d give a SINGLE STAR but the Tire department and the entire team there is otherwise very professional and most of the times go above and beyond to accommodate the customers needs and help them.

The review below is an old one:

Today 5/19/2019 at around 04:13 PM I called the Costco at Milford, Ct about an issue with my executive membership Costco card replaced with the basic gold star member card when I lost my old card while shopping at Costco. The lady who answered in the administration, said she’d help and put me on hold with a phone ringing tone for more than 10 minutes, either she’s disconnected and put me on hold or something. Then I called back and again and a gentleman answered and helped me with my query. We’ve been a member since 2006 and this is like the first time I called them regarding an issue and the lady just wasn’t professional at all. Sorry Costco but such employees need to be retrained on...

The service at optical department is horrible. The lady at the optical department gave us wrong information about everything and misguided me. I asked for the insurance details and she confirmed that Costco is in network with my insurance service provider and will get the same benefit as other in network provider, but it was not true. She told me that if I will not like the frame, I can return it and have me the wrong frame which was not a right fit for me. When I asked to change the frame, she was not ready to return the frame and was keep trying to convince me that it was the right fit. If I am not feeling comfortable with the frame and everyone else except her can see that it was too big, the how can it be a good fit for me. She kept trying to adjust the frame and even made damages while adjusting the frame and was still telling me that this is the frame for me. At the time When I bought the set from her she told me that get the transition lenses and if you will not like it then we will refund your money back, but when I told her that I am not liking the transition lenses, she said that I will still have to pay for the lenses because now these lenses cannot be used for anyone else. When I asked that I can return it in full set, she said I still have to pay for the lenses. I tried to change it at another location and the guy at another location told me that who so ever has sold that frame to me seems unprofessional because anyone can see that it was the wrong frame and told me that Costco does not have any issues to return the complete set and refund your full money because they want to keep customer happy, then why this lady was keep trying to sell me something for which she gave me all wrong information and was forcing me to keep it. She was an Asian lady at the store. I don’t know her name, but if you see the Asian optician...

Today's experience made me question the real reason I pay membership here. I like going to Costco to buy bulk and to buy items which are usually found no where else. Today I came looking for veggies . Costco recently had a recall on lettuce to salmonella or Listeria. I returned my veggies and wanted to buy more. So I forgot my receipt. Was it a big deal...? Yes it was! A young associate interjected" we cannot look up your items with out a receipt " because we have a new manager. I was like ok/lol. So after all that fuss over an $8.43 recalled veggie return I started to shop. Not 5 minutes into the floor, I am being followed by an associate/ perhaps loss prevention?? I stopped and told that SOB to back off, I was here to shop not steal. He did! Ugh! Keep in mind this store is super busy! Everyone this evening was in in Thanksgiving Panic Mode. I make it to the produce. Cucumbers and lettuce bad and brown. I ask for help and the associate just looked at me and walked on. Argh! So I did not get my veggies. Ok... The bakery might have cheesecake. I asked a bakery associate if there was any cheesecake left because the cooler of which these were stored was indeed empty. He retorted" Did you not see that the cooler was empty??" Keep in mind I pay membership!!. I nearly lost it. I went to a manager and expressed my disappointment with his staff. I shop at this store all the time. This experience made me question why do I pay membership for such abuse. Was it a bad day for...
