Went in for the first time to this specific Costco to pick up pizza and I have a small service dog and it was extremely crowded so just to get in last the exit I picked up my dog (she's to notify me and help prevent me from passing out). Before I even got in, I'm getting yelled at that I'm not allowed to carry her she has to be in a backpack, in a carrier!????? Or on the floor and never in the cart (I didn't have a cart at all) I said she's a service dog I'm just trying to get past all the people She wouldn't even let me finish she is yelling at me and still signing people's receipts older lady with blonde hair and black glasses there Saturday at 4pm July 2 Was very upset I put the dog down and she was ok but I was near having a heart issues from the amount of people trying to hit her with the cart just trying to get past them. I wasn't going to hold her any other time and If she was a large dog that's fine or better but she's small. How is a service dog going to do anything in a carrier or a backpack? What can she do if I'm about to pass out or have a seizure? Am I supposed to fall on top of her and hurt her as well as myself? Thankfully I had my boyfriend to help me but that is ridiculous. Just let my dog her run over and hit, wouldn't you rather me hold the dog instead of getting in everyone's way. I'm very upset to say the least
