Asked for the cheapest possible option for a double bed setup. Was encouraged by Kyle to order a double mattress/box spring/bed frame, delivery and removal of previous mattress/box spring included.
Day of delivery, got a call saying the mattress hadn’t arrived at their warehouse yet, but they could deliver the frame and box spring.
Was told it would come sometime between 4 and 8 pm. Delivery people came at 2 pm instead. Luckily, I was home and wasn’t busy. Delivery people told me they weren’t told to remove old mattress/box spring when they got here. Thankfully, they said they could do it anyway. They took my mattress, then started to bring a box spring in.
They tried cramming a queen box spring up my narrow stairwell for a while before realizing it was the wrong size. Turns out, they didn’t have my order in their truck. They told me they’d be back at my apartment between 4 and 8 the next day with everything. Left before I could ask for my old mattress back. So, now I no longer had a mattress, slept on the floor.
Later, I received a call saying my order would actually be ready two days later between 2 and 6 pm. Now it’s 2 nights sleeping on the floor. Further, when I said I would be working for part of this window and would need them to come after 3:30, they told me they would not be able to accommodate that. I had to call them back and describe the inconvenience of the situation in detail for them to accommodate my needs, or even be mildly apologetic.
When they arrived with my correct order, the double box spring didn’t fit up my stairwell (not their fault, obviously). Played phone tag for a couple days trying to find something that would work instead. They kept telling me I would have to order a custom box spring that would be more expensive. Eventually left them a message saying to put me down for whatever the cheapest option is, which ended up bypassing the need for a box spring at all. This option was also cheaper than what I had originally purchased. Delivery people showed up an hour before the delivery time window I was given, while I was at work. I told them when I would be home and they said they would be there then. They were 1.5 hours late. Thankfully, final setup went smoothly and quickly.
TLDR: was upsold on a setup that didn’t end up working for me, continued trying to upsell me after that setup didn’t work, wasted hours of my time on the phone and in person, lack of communication between employees, didn’t abide by delivery time windows given, yet initially refused my request to change my delivery...

Update to my review Not only did we buy a great mattress, Dave sent us to the sister store where we bought a really beautiful new bed. I was tired but the salesman sent us the info on our choice with a price on a bed sold by"wayfare" and "raymoore" and beat their prices by 500 and 700 bucks. So now we have a kickass set for a sale price when it wasn't on sale. Love love love Dave"Love" Price and his wacky but wonderful persona. I promise, you will too.
