I just had the worst experience in this a few days ago Macys not only once but twice here at this location but most recent events……….I decided I wanted to shop for socks because I was easily distracted by wanting to check out some Ralph Lauren clothing (which I wear all the time) seen that I couldn’t quickly put anything together right away so I put the shirt back and proceeded with my Ralph Lauren clothing I already had from the woman’s section downstairs before proceeding upstairs but I get this very mean stare going down the escalator from this guy I didn’t think was following me but was but again not caring because I’m an honest shopper so what right…….so I go in the dressing room things didn’t fit and so I placed the clothing on the rack outside the dressing room (forgetting to mention) this same guy goes racing in the back of me on his walkie talkie before goin in the dressing room. So as I’m walking out he races to the dressing room and now only have the socks I originally came to get because at this point I didn’t even want to search for a bigger size because he was making me very uncomfortable at this point so I proceeded to the register closest to the door where I parked and paid for my socks and now he’s standing at the entrance and now I speak up and start recording him asking him why has he been following me throughout the store and what indication did I give him to think I’m stealing or had motives to do such a thing he then runs to the back of the store with no explanation given and slams the door behind him I asked to speak to a manager and did by the name of Zachary she apologized about the experience and took my number and haven’t heard anything since!!!! I usually don’t pull the race card but I’m African American woman and race played a roll and definitely felt racially profiled !!! Very disgusted in this Macy’s and the loss prevention team is a joke!!! The photo is of the recording when I started to ask what’s...
Read moreThe mall management company and mall security are extremely rude and harassing to the mall employees. Their biggest concern is where mall employees are parking. Now days, mall security is a serious job. You should be inside the mall incase of incident, not stalking employees around the parking lot to give them tickets and/or tow them from their place of employment. A few weeks ago there was a fire in the mall resulting in one corridor being evacuated. There was not one mall security guard in sight, it was a mess. This mall is not busy enough for year round parking restrictions. Maybe November-January, MAYBE!!! It would be nice if you would spend your day actually making sure the mall is a secure and safe place to shop. I also would love to be able to shop here on my days off. However, since you are threatening to tow people(and I don't really trust that you can tell if I am working or shopping) I guess I will just spend my...
