Montana Antique Mall — Attraction in Missoula

Neat store, it was filled with items from consignment vendors that could not actually be there to negotiate prices on their antiques, which is the norm. The 2 women working there were nice and very helpful but im not and will not ever pay the asking price. These are antiques remember, and they are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them. So... I was interested in a particular item and i asked the woman working there to call him/her (the owner of the item) and see if he/she would drop the price on it, and she said "oh i know him well, he never budges on anything ". Well GEEZ, this is a antique store ok, not a retail store. Prices are not firm in here. I guess whomever owns this Antique Mall just likes looking at their items and never really goes out of the way to barter or haggle on a piece for sale. Ive been to plenty of antique stores in my life and this one by far was the most difficult to haggle with. I will not be back. And remember antiques are meant to be negotiated! And offers are suppose to be made on them....

Everybody that works here is absolutely amazing! I have received above and beyond service on multiple occasions. This is by far my favorite antique mall in the entire state of montana! I have found some of my best treasures here, the place is always clean and has the best selection in my opinion. The dealers really know their stuff. For me the icing on the cake is everybody that works there. They will go above and beyond to help you and they have amazing taste! I have been very very satisfied with every single interaction I have had with all of the employees. If you only have time to go to one antique Mall this is the one! Every time I get to Missoula I have to go now! There are three levels of antiques and it could take me a whole day to go through it! A very happy day! I highly recommend shopping at this...

So many things to look at! It's a maze of levels, nooks, crannies and stair cases, some leading to nowhere. 😉 All filled with things you wonder about....what is it, where did it come from what was it used for, also why in the world did they make that thing, eeewww? Old familiar toys that spark your memory, things you didn't remember having until you see it on a shelf here. Some things in cases are expensive and you're like I had one of those, I could fill my truck tank with the value of that, at least, .......why did I get rid of that? 😄It's a fun place to lose yourself fora while.
