I recently had the most exhilarating river rafting experience with Yellowstone Rafting Company, and it was nothing short of phenomenal! From start to finish, this adventure was packed with excitement, knowledge, and breathtaking wildlife encounters.
First and foremost, our guide, Katie, was an absolute gem. Her passion for river rafting and the great outdoors was evident from the moment we met up with her. Throughout the journey, Katie's expertise shone brightly as she expertly navigated us through the river, ensuring we experienced the fastest rapids and all the thrills that come with them. Her commitment to our safety was reassuring, and her friendly demeanor made the entire trip even more enjoyable.
What truly set Katie apart was her extensive knowledge about the river and the recent flooding that had occurred in the area. She shared fascinating insights about the ecosystem, the geological formations, and how the recent changes in water levels had impacted the surroundings. It was evident that she genuinely cared about the river and the wildlife that called it home.
Speaking of wildlife, the journey with Yellowstone Rafting Company was an absolute treat for nature enthusiasts. Along the way, we were lucky enough to spot majestic Elk grazing near the riverbanks, graceful Osprey soaring high above us, playful Ducks diving in and out of the water, and other incredible wildlife. The experience felt like a true communion with nature, and it left us in awe of Yellowstone's diverse and thriving ecosystem.
The entire rafting experience was nothing short of first-class service. From the moment we arrived, the staff at Yellowstone Rafting Company greeted us with warm smiles and efficiently organized our trip. The location of their base right by the park entrance was convenient and made it easy for us to seamlessly continue exploring other wonders of Yellowstone National Park after the adventure.
In conclusion, I cannot recommend Yellowstone Rafting Company enough for an unforgettable river rafting experience. With an exceptional guide like Katie leading the way, you're in for an action-packed journey through stunning landscapes and an up-close encounter with the wonders of nature. Whether you're an adventure seeker or a wildlife enthusiast, this company's top-notch service and prime location make it an absolute must-do when visiting Yellowstone. I can't wait to return for another thrilling ride down the river with Katie...
Read moreMy kids and I enjoyed a great trip down the Yellowstone River. Our guide, Jeff W., was very professional. He navigated the rapids skillfully and provided great conversation and information during the calmer sections of the river. However, our experience was tainted by the unprofessional behavior of one of the other raft guides, Rob. Rob tried to dump his extra paddles off on our raft before put-in, but our raft was full (with 4 adults and 5 kids) while his only had 4 adults, so Jeff left the oars out and we put into the river. For the next 3 miles, Rob verbally harassed Jeff and was more interested in making Jeff's life difficult than giving his (and Jeff's) paying customers the best experience possible. Rob tried to make it seem playful, but nobody in either raft looked amused. He used his raft to try to push ours up on rocks, and yelled things like, "see, Jeff can't even steer clear of the rocks!" To his credit, Jeff tried to just focus on giving us a good ride down the river and was able to put some distance between us and Rob, and we had a great rest of the ride.
Back at the office, as we were picking up our keys, I overheard a couple of the staff talking about how Jeff would probably get docked from his paycheck for leaving the paddles behind, and I know at least one of them knew full well that Rob dumped them on Jeff because she was the one who gave them to him. It left me feeling bad for our guide, who all along was just trying to provide his riders with the best experience possible, which he did. I understand that seasonal staffs have different dynamics and sometimes personal beefs, etc., but the good ones get past it and don't let it show to the customers. We just want to enjoy the experience...
Read moreThis review is a mixed bag. We did a saddle and paddle so it’s 2 part.
The horseback riding was through hells a roaring outfitter and although your guide was awesome there were multiple things that really turned me off from wanting to go again. We booked a 2 hour ride and got there the 30 minutes prior to our 11 departure time but didn’t not actually leave the ranch until closer to 11:45 but returned at 12:50! There were 2 HUGE groups and they did not have enough help to get everyone on the trail at the correct time. This was a complete rip off of money because we should of either been refunded or stayed out riding longer. There was also another “guide” Bernadette who was rude and came up to our lead guide to complain in front of everyone which was totally unprofessional. She was late to work and went in about how she didn’t appreciate being spoke to about being late. So for these reasons I was disappointed. The ranch and ride was still beautiful but not really what I expected And thought things could of been handled better on many levels. I do Believe the lead guide was Amy and she was great and so was Garrett. They definitely made the experience a little better!
NOW the second part of our trip was the paddle through Paradise Adventure and our guide was Owen! This was by far AMAZING AND AWESOME!!! We left in time and he was very accommodating and helpful. We had so much fun and he kept us laughing the whole time! I would Definitely be back to go for another rafting adventure!!!! HIGHLY...
