Completely disappointing experience! After making a return within days of an online order, I was told at the store tonight that I could only get in store credit for two of the items returned. After no explanation could be provided on why I couldnât get a refund on my Kohlâs charge like I did for the other items, I asked for a manager. The manager was unwilling to contact Kohlâs headquarters after two requests when I couldnât be given an explanation on why I could only receive in store credit instead of a refund on my Kohlâs charge. I requested headquarters be called for an explanation and also to rectify the issue after the manager suggested it was something on headquarters computers and nothing the store could control. The manager told me she could not call headquarters and I would have to personally reach out to headquarters myself if I wanted my credit card to be refunded.
As a result I was given store credit for the return. When I returned home, I reached out to headquarters like the manager directed to request the store credit be voided and instead receive a refund on my credit card. After being on hold for over an hour, I was told by customer service agent and supervisor there was nothing they could do for me. Headquarters said the store was responsible and they couldnât make any changes to the refund. I explained what had happened with the manager and asked if they could reach out to the store to try and help with the proper refund and the headquarters supervisor said they wouldnât be able to help me in anyway.
I spent 45 minutes in the store dealing with the returns and an hour and 45 minutes on the phone to get no resolution. I find this to be the most disgusting customer service I have ever experienced! I consider this unethical that I was not able to receive a credit back on my Kohlâs charge and appalling I could not receive any assistance from the store manager or a supervisor at headquarters. Years of loyal business will be...

Read moreThis review is based on a recent visit to return some items. The woman at the customer service department was extremely rude and made my experience unpleasant.
I returned a couple shirts & had some extra kohls hangers in the bag from the other clothes that I ended up keeping. I figured I could just give the hangers back. So upon asking if she could take the 3 extra hangers, she nastily said while sighing, ânormally we donât take hangers back bc of covid but Iâll take them this timeâ and threw them onto the counter behind her. Speaking to me like I was a child. Now letâs think about that statement. There are customers touching the hangers daily IN the store & those can be given to a customer at the time of purchase ???? & then they canât be accepted back BUT the clothes can be ???? Itâs sad because I am all for being safe, but letâs not use a pandemic as an excuse when...
