Shawarma Stop Morrisville — Restaurant in Morrisville

Stopped in here this evening and ordered two sampling platters to get an idea of the variety and quality of their offerings. We didn't order by the menu but instead showed the guys a couple of pics posted online by other customers. They said no problem (very nice dudes working there) and less than 20 minutes later served us two platters with: 2 different kinds of hummus, tzatziki, labneh olive spread, muhammara, dolmades, falafel, yellow rice, tabouli , pita points, tahini and garlic sauces. Everything was very fresh, smelled fantastic, flavors were diverse, savory, and just absolutely excellent and delicious. In our opinion (we really enjoy good middle eastern/Mediterranean foods), probably one of the best, authentic (based on other reviews and the ethnicity of a lot of the patrons-was a diverse crowd there) middle eastern/Mediterranean restaurants around the area. Definitely a must return to and try everything on the menu kind of place. Of note, they vertically rotisserie roast their shawarma which has got to be the best way to do it-that'll be the next item to try along with a Greek...

💯💯 I HIGHLY recommend others to come check out this new spot In Morrisville!! 💯💯 I went to this place Erie a date with my girlfriend and I wouldn’t have gone anywhere else with the kind of experience I had when entering this establishment. From ordering at the counter and being greeted with a warm smile all the way to finishing an amazingly satisfying chicken shawarma platter and Laziz chicken wrap everything was just right! I was able to speak with the owner of the restaurant, Alam, and he has one of the most friendly and wholesome characteristics I’ve seen here in Morrisville NC. Just through the short conversation we had I could feel the mutual understanding and vibe and it was just overall so inviting and made me happy to meet someone of the same mind and a place of the same aspirations in serving with the best quality.

This place is truly wonderful. My husband and I stopped in today and immediately were impressed with the atmosphere and service. The inside was pristinely clean and the man who took my order was kind and warm. They make your food hot and fresh right there behind the counter, so you can see everything as it’s being made. The employees moved with a sense of purpose and seemed to have a good flow working together.

The menu has just the right amount of variety without being overwhelming. The food came out with good timing and was HOT and so fresh. The chicken shawarma was delectable as were the falafel and cheese sambusek. I really appreciate that they included tourshi (a variety of pickled vegetables) with the falafel.
