Incredible! A cafe that ticks all the boxes for me.

Firstly the coffee. Their espresso drinks show that they put some effort into hiring/training baristas that excel in the craft and sourcing high quality, freshly roasted coffee. The espresso was perfectly extracted, bright and fruity without being too acidic. That same espresso in a milk drink had amazing sweetness, wonderful caramel notes. The presentation of the drinks was nicely done, the best I have seen in the US so far. I could only fault that the microfoam on the cappuccino was a little coarse, but that's a pretty superficial flaw in the scheme of things.

For the food, the smashed avo' toast was delicious. Not a huge portion but it was just right for a light brunch. They had a selection of house made sweet items (brownies, muffins, etc.) on display that all looked amazing. Based on their execution of the smashed avo', I would expect that any of their other food offerings would be just as good.

The service was quick and friendly. No table service, you order at the counter and seat yourself then they will bring your food and drinks out to the table.

I’ve been here a number of times since they opened and each visit has been an equal or better experience! Lots of yummy fresh things to eat on the menu, plenty of coffee options which can all be customized, tea, even kombucha AND craft beer on tap! I recommend the avocado smash and a classic iced latte. All their foods are 100% gluten free, as well as offering vegetarian and dairy free options. In terms of milk options they have whole, almond and oat, and offer HOUSE-MADE syrups! The notably positive energy here is fantastic and the large windows/doors (which open up!) gives the place amazing lighting and feeling less closed in unlike many other coffee shops that have more of the darker and sleepier feeling. It’s a crisp white interior with high ceilings which also enhances the ambience and elegance. Although it gets a little loud, it is a local favorite for me to go and study at. As mentioned before, the open aired, bright and ever present location keeps me more engaged and awake than in “traditional” chain coffee shops. Fount coffee shop has intrigued me three times now, exudes a vibrant atmosphere and fosters a strong community. Their Merch is an absolute must-try, and I highly recommend their Rosemary cashews at the front counter - they’re I’m convinced that there levels now to cashews! I anticipate my next visit to explore their other coffee and food offerings. While I’ve only had the coffee so far, I’d rate the latte I had a solid 3.5 out of five.

What truly sets Found apart is its exceptional customer service. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, most of whom have been dedicated to the shop for at least two years. Considering the high turnover in the coffee industry, this is truly impressive. It’s evident that the owners and management take great pride in their staff, and it’s wonderful to meet individuals who have been part of this community for so long.

The location of Found is also beautiful, and I particularly enjoy browsing their merchandise, which is an integral part of their coffee culture. Overall, Found is a fantastic destination for coffee enthusiasts, and I can’t wait to return and delve deeper into their...
