I had to do one of the things we have to do once a year...get my tags renewed. It’s a total PIA. The line actually moved pretty quickly which was good since I had to go through it twice. Even though I had my insurance card with me they said according to their system my car wasn’t insured so I had to call my insurance company and get a document sent so they could verify my insurance. Then the lady at the counter didn’t like the document because of the date on it. A supervisor did accept the document so I was able to give them my money. Parking was plentiful. We went to the Burlington Store and OMG the service was so slow. I stood in a super long line for 20 minutes for a return. The cashier must have been new or inexperienced because she had trouble with the one item return with a receipt. I finally said to her "please call the manager so that I can get done and get out of this line." Manager came and a minute later I was on my way out of the store. Actually several businesses are located here but I was renewing my tags. Arrived at about 7:40 and the tag office opened at 8am. Doors opened promptly at 8, they are Covid aware and took all precautions. After the initial 6 people were allowed in, they swiftly move everyone through the process and kept the line moving. Approximately 15 or 20 people were waiting and I was able to be called in and purchase my tags and leave within 15 or 20 minutes. Very fast...
