DA FRY GUY ATL — Restaurant in Morrow

Well let me just say I support my people and if I like it I return. I apologize for no pics as by the time I got home and was ready to take the pics my family had already dug into both plates, UGH! So I will try this place again and hopefully my stars will go up. Ok I rated this way because despite having plates that cannot close from being stuffed ( A PLUS), we found the flavors not all the way there. The wings were cooked perfectly but no flavor to them even with the sauces on top. Weird! The ATL loaded fries with 10pc Cajun Alfredo wings and the Honey Please me fries & 10pc wings called Golden Dream I think that’s the name of the other loaded fries were what we got. They were loaded with a lot of chicken chunks but the ATL fries only had 5 shrimp. The only spice I could taste was the hot sauce. The wings were not holding any seasonings, which was disappointing. The portions lasted for lunch and dinner though. I will try other items next tine as I want to see if all the food is under seasoned. The restaurant itself is small with 3 tall tables and bar stools to wait for your order. Not sure if there is a restroom because the view of the hall doesn’t show much. Oh the strawberry lemonade was watered down. Wish I had chosen the pineapple as it had small pieces of pineapple in it. All together I spent around 48 dollars for all three items. ** TO...

The food here is good, but the service is EXTREMELY horrible!!!!! Many menu items are missing. There is no working phone number to pre-order your food. The lobby/dining area is small and LOUD. After waiting almost 30 mins the server, 'Lucky' (slim girl with the dusty grey wig), gave my food to another customer!!! She has the audacity to argue with me, and blamed me eventhough she never fid her job to check and match the name on the ticket! Not to mention, the other patron that she gave my food to said that it was too loud, that the server motioned to her and told her it was her food....even after i asked why people coming after me are getting their food before me!?! Worse, when I asked for a manager, the server told me that she was the manager. On top of everything, the other patron was given my food for free, and I was aggressively given the option to "stand there and wait" for my food to be re-done or take a refund and leave...no compensation, no apology. The sad part is, I was only there to get food for a friend to support a black business, and because I had been talking the place up. This appalling disrespect and lack of accountability (gaslighting) is what i got in return...

Unfortunately my experience was not a pleasant one, drove for over an hour & 45 minutes, calling the number on the web only for it to ring without an answer. I pull up at 7:35pm they supposedly close at 8pm Open sign turned off so I go knock on the door since I noticed people inside, the head chef who was nice, came out & said they take their last order at 7:45pm but they were sold out for that day. I asked how would a customer know she explained that they sell out everyday & by 6 or 6:30pm. I found this interesting so why stay "open" until 8pm, if you're sold out everyday by 6 or 6:30pm??? I won't EVER come back. I attempted to support a young man's restaurant after hearing about it ONLY to get unprofessionalism. Oh by the way they don't have a phone so, just show up & take your chances... I'll spend my money elsewhere & wish this young man...
