I'm a couple of days late doing this review but better late than never. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I had the worst experience at this establishment this past Sunday (Father's Day) and I would love to say it was just me but unfortunately many people experienced the same. I was about 30 minutes away and tried to call in my order to shorter the wait time. There was no answer. I called a total of 3 times with about a 5 minute buffer in between calls however, my call went unanswered. I get there to go in and order and quite honestly with all the complaints I walked into I should have said nah, and left but I didn't so now we're here. I asked to place an order so the young man at the front got on the walkie to call someone. I mentioned to him that I tried calling a few to times to place an order but the phone just kept ringing and no one would answer. Another older woman who was working the counter with him said "oh, so that was you who kept calling back to back?". I said to her "I waited in-between calls but if you heard the phone ringing why didnt you answer it?" She had no response and went quiet. While I waited I witnessed another young man come in on behalf of an elderly man who had been sitting in curbside pickup for 45 minutes waiting on his food to come out (it was just sitting up on the shelf), a young lady come in and ask if the food that was sitting out on her counter without a bag was hers as she was waiting on her order to be cooked again because it was completely wrong (it was indeed her food), and another woman who had been waiting for 10 minutes for 4 biscuits that had been left out of her togo meal and now how food was getting cold. Again I should have left but being that this was my dad's favorite place to eat I just had to surprise him with his favorite meal. I had to ask the young man at the counter to call someone yet again to come and take my order. I finally get someone to come and gave her explicit instructions for my order. I was told it would be a 25-30 minute wait. Ok. No problem. I go back to my car to wait and went in 35 minutes after placing my order. It wasn't there nor was it ready. While I stood in there and waited a young lady walked past me and said (while talking to herself) "man this is ridiculous". I said it certainly is and we struck up a conversation. She was a door dasher who had been waiting on a customers food for 40 minutes and every time she checked on it she kept being told it's the next ticket up or it's coming. While we were talking another family who sat down for their meal had come out and asked to speak with the manager. The manager comes (she was very polite) and listened to their complaint which left my mouth open at the service they had received while dining. When the manger went to leave I stopped her and asked her about my meal as did the door dasher. She went to the back and about 3 minutes later someone came to the front with my order. Which was missing items 🤦🏾♀️. The young lady who brought my items but I also had to tell there were items missing had an terrible attitude. Read more. This is dated May 10th 2021, I went to the cracker barrel at the Morrow Georgia location with my son to have breakfast in May 8th 2021. We were told it would be an hour wait and we decided to wait. The young host told us that it wouldn't be an hour which it wasn't. They were moving fairly well calling people in groups of two and three. Well the couple in front of us and my son and I we went in together. We sat down we waited gentlemen came Clarence I believe was his name. Took our a drink order and left a little while later as we sat there and waited the gentleman came by and said oh my I forgot I'll get your drinks right now this is as he was catering to other clients around us. We waited and then he did finally come and take our order. Well at this time I'm looking at the couple who came with us and they are being served their food. We wait and we wait and we wait the gentleman named Clarence comes back to the table and says my apologies your order got lost in the computer! So at this juncture I'm asking my son is he going to talk to the manager which he really doesn't want to do. I don't know if it's maybe just down playing it but I'm feeling like when you're paying for service you should get at least accommodating service. He goes back now I see the people who came with us are getting there to go boxes and they're leaving when our food finally arrives. This was Friday the 8th of May 2021. I can't make it up that I have been to other cracker barrels the one in Jonesboro Georgia I have never had a problem. The crazy thing about it is when I was on the phone FaceTime me with my granddaughter who's 8 years old and I mentioned we were getting breakfast at cracker barrel the first thing she said was her and auntie waited 2 hours to eat there. So I'm realizing that even though you guys are getting some good reviews this is far too freaking often.. when it issue and I have spoken with another friend of mine who said the same thing. Read more6/8/2022 Let's say it together "LACKLUSTER" Upon arrival, we was greeted and atmosphere friendly and decor is so beautiful just make you want to buy everything inside the country store. So,,,we're just browsing around and every other second someone is asking if they can help us. Wait, so wasn't you and you, oh and you 😒🙄 just with the other person and we said we are looking around. Smh. Anyway, I digress. So, we finally ordered our food. The waitress was dry, and annoyed she had to take our carryout order. I ordered some items and my friend ordered some items. One in particular item I ordered was from the online menu and it was 3 cheese squash casserole. So, we was instructed to wait in dining room or we can sit in rocking chairs outside. Cool 😎. Then 20 minutes later while we was outside the waitress that took our order walked out and left. So, I go inside to see if our order is ready. Nope 🙅🏻, but then I'm told they dont have 3 cheese squash casserole. Wait, really, wow. So I was giving a salad choice 🥗, which by the way was delicious 😋 but it wasn't what I wanted. I then go back outside, and maybe 15 minutes later someone came and said our order is ready. We go back inside to get our order and we're told they didn't have a particular dessert. I'm so confused 😕 like when we're ordering why aren't we told or updated soon as possible about missing items. Something that should have taken 30 minutes took well over a hour. Oh wait, then on top of that, we bought 2 things in the store, and I'm so confused why they both wasn't placed in the bag. This trip was bad all the way around.
