Howard Hughes is a great place to shop for appliances such as washing machines, refrigerators, ovens, and so on. They have big green eggs, televisions, and beds as well. Their customer service is five stars because of the way they treat their customers before and after the purchase. Personally I've never bought beds or two televisions here, but I can tell you about ovens, washers, dryers, and refrigerators. Their quality is outstanding if you follow what they say and get items of recommendation. They will tell you what the cheapest item is, best value item, and the highest end item. They will tell you the pros and cons of different models and try to help you find out what you need based on your requirements and preferences. There are new items you will never have a problem with. The used items or not so good. Do not buy anything used here as everything I've bought used has stopped working within about a year or two. Their ovens are outstanding - I personally recommend the stainless steel convection whirlpool version. The washer and dryer set I bought here two and a half years ago are still working perfectly. Their selection is amazing for a town the size of Moscow.
Their prices are fair and generally affordable for most homeowners. For example a nice stainless steel oven I bought here was $1,000 and the washer and dryer set I bought here that were top of the line happened to be only $1,600. The employees will immediately come over to help you if they see you walk in the store. The manager is awesome - he truly knows how to run a good business. They hold true to any service contracts, any fine print, or deals that they give you. It's fairly easy to get decent parking outside the store. The store is clean, organized, and well-lit. They organize their appliances from cheapest to most expensive so you can easily find something within your budget. It's very quiet store with very few other customers at the time you are in there. Overall this place deserves four stars. I am deducting star due to the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI purchased Frigidaire stack washer/dryer with the extended warranty on 09/20/21. My first call to the service dept was 07/25/23 due to the washer not spinning. The first tech came out on July 28th and took 2 1/2 hours to find the belt shredded. I called August 1st to check the status of ordered parts. Adam returned my call and āorderedā parts. I called August 4th to check status and per Ron āThanks for reminding meā to order parts. Per 2nd tech on August 8th more parts needed. Now the extended warranty company needs to OK parts before they can be ordered. On August 11th per Dana (2nd tech) he hasnāt heard from the extended warranty company. Today is day 18 without having my washing machine fixed and I have no idea when the needed parts will be ordered, arrive and installed. HH service departmentās lack of concern and competency of the people answering their phone leaves a lot to be desired. I will never make another purchase from Howard Hughes, buy a useless extended warranty nor recommend anyone to make a purchase from them. The ONLY person that has shown professionalism and concern is Dana. update My washer was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOnly had one experience with this company and I was extremely happy with the service.
I came to buy a bed. I knew it was going to be pricey. But they not only delivered my bed at the end of the day when the crew was tired I'm sure, but they loaded and unloaded it which saved my back and they were quick about it.
I ended up having to return the bed due to my back not liking it safety 2 days of sleeping on it. They did not give me any issues or hassle. The only thing I did not appreciate is the fact that it will take 7 to 10 business days for the money to hit my account. To be expected I suppose.
I can only remember one employees name. Mike I believe... He was understanding and went above and beyond to satisfy my needs.
But all the guys there were awesome. I will be coming back...
