Plugs Appliance Center — Attraction in Mount Pleasant

Plugs Appliance Center did an exceptional job from start to finish! I originally bought an LG washer and dryer set from the ‘Orange Depot’ type store, but the service was so horrible that I sent them packing and contacted PLUGS APPLIANCE CENTER, and I am sure glad I did! My sales rep Matt listened to my concerns (which he later captured in the delivery paperwork) and clearly reviewed my options so they so could make an informed decision to buy from PLUGS. Three delivery guys (Sebastian, Oscar, and Ramon) expertly delivered and installed my LG washer and Dryer! They had shoe covers to prevent any dirt and debris from getting on my floors. Also, they used furniture straps to move the old washer and dryer out, and the new in, so there was no damage to my walls, trim, flooring, etc! Finally, Sebastian, Oscar, and Ramon were exceptionally professional, very friendly, and truly knowledgeable. They showed me their level used to level both the washer and dryer, tested all the water connections, and ran test cycles on both. Not only was the cost for my appliances less at PLUGS than the home improvement stores, the delivery and installation was very professional, and they took care not to damage my home in any way! Plugs Appliance is great place to buy your appliances, however, when they delivered our washer & dryer on May 22, 2024, the guys who delivered them ran their Dollie/hand truck over our door threshold & punctured two large holes in it. The delivery guy acknowledged the damage, took pictures & said he would report it & someone would call us. We have made 4 phone calls & gotten nothing but the run around. Nobody will call us back. Horrible customer service! It is now June 7 & still no resolution. Plugs came highly recommended but at this point, we will NOT recommend them. They have had over two weeks to respond & they have not. Have left numerous messages & spoken to several people. Unsure of what to do next.

7/1/2024 UPDATE: PLEASE READ! After finally speaking to the lovely Celia @ Plugs, She sent the repair man out to fix the damaged threshold & he was amazing! He was professional & did a fantastic job! We absolutely love our appliances also! I now will highly recommend Plugs Appliance Center as they came through for us & fixed the issue! We appreciate this so much & love supporting small business! We will definitely use them again in the future! THANK YOU...

• UPDATE: A gentleman by the name Whitten from the store reached out the evening before Thanksgiving to discuss the issue and he understood where I was coming from and apologized as he was disturbed by what happened. I appreciate that so much because no one should be disrespected like that.

We were eager to support a local business and to purchase appliances for our new house but the customer service is the worst. We received a quote online and we’re advised to visit the store to complete the purchase. When my fiancé and I arrived at the store the salesman sitting by the front door was very rude. He seemed angry and disturbed that we even walked through the door and did not want to answer any questions or guide us in our decision. When asked when everything will be delivered his answer was to call and speak to the person that gave us the quote to get an answer.
