I was blessed to see my favorite comedian, Christopher Titus, perform here in October. The Lincoln Theatre is an absolute gem! You can feel the history the second you walk into this place. It’s beautifully restored without losing any of its 1920s charm. The sound and lighting are top-notch, the seats are comfy, and the whole place just feels special. It’s rare to find a theater that manages to be both vintage and totally professional at the same time.

They put on an amazing variety of shows and everything is run so smoothly. The staff are friendly and clearly love what they do, and you can tell this place is powered by genuine love. Even the concessions and lobby have a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stick around and chat. They even put 100% real melted butter on their popcorn, and as a transplant from Wisconsin, nothing could have made me happier!

Whether you’re catching a live show or an indie film, it’s a great night out. Can’t...

Attended a Candlelight Concert featuring Vivaldi's Four Seasons on July 19. The music was absolutely wonderful but the theater was so hot I felt like I would pass out. Definitely detracted from the enjoyment of the music. The theater was sold out! I don't know if the Lincoln Theater doesn't have AC because it's so old or if it just wasn't functioning. The lobby was cold so I guess it just wasn't working in the theater? Needless to say, we will never attend a show during the summer again. It's a shame, because the musicians were...

Wonderful old venue but...today I recieved an e mail from the Lincoln letting us know we were no longer welcome without being vaxxed and providing proof. What a slap in face to those who supported the theater through troubled times. Blatant discrimination! I wish the Lincoln well and hope they get enough vaxxed people to stay in business as they will no longer see us, even if/when they change they're discriminatory ways. Don't let that pesky bill of rights get in the way of being trendy and...

Nice well kept theater. 92 years old and you can tell there has been some good work done to keep it relevant but also true to period built. Comfortable seats with legroom. Sound and lighting were really good for the event we attended. Concession is decent. Only drawback is their "bar". Not well stocked and selections of beer substantially less than they should be. With all of the good craft beers around Mt Vernon like North Sound Brewing they have the choices. Just need to get them.

We rented the Lincoln Theatre for a small gathering for a holiday Mystery Movie Matinee. The management and staff at the Lincoln helped us create a wonderful holiday experience for our family and friends. It was the perfect way to ring in a new year together and enjoy one of our favorite films from the 1990’s. The assistance they provided made for a seamless and thoroughly enjoyable afternoon together. Rent this theatre…you won’t regret it!!

This is a wonderful venue. Built in 1926 it's close to its hundredth birthday! The seats are comfortable and there is not a bad seat in the house as far as the view of the stage. We've been several times for a variety of events from plays (Arsenic and Old Lace) to comedians (Henry Cho) to great music (Burning in Mt Vernon) to name a few! Parking is close by, free and fairly plentiful.
