UPDATE: Darius, the store manager reached out to me concerned about my experience. He was super helpful and apologetic that my return wasn’t initiated but he was even more concerned about my missing debit card. Darius advised me that he launched an investigation (where he reviewed the video footage) but that investigation has been inconclusive so far.
Apparently, the return is able to be done in store and he advised that I come in the next day and ask for him directly. It took about 10 minutes for me to get in and out the store and my return was complete.
I didn’t receive a courtesy credit or anything but I am confident I can come to this store and get excellent customer service. As a result, I’m increasing my rating from 1 star to 3 because Darius was extremely helpful, but I’m still bitter about wasting my time the previous night both in store and on the phone with the AT&T AI that should absolutely be able to understand prompts for a return label and send that label.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Bought the new iPhone 17 on the AT&T app. Also purchased an accessory bundle (case, screen cover, etc) that they charged to my next bill.
Didn’t realize I ordered the accessories for the pro and not the pro max.
I spent over an hour in the store and still was unable to exchange the accessory bundle I purchased online because there was a $6.15 difference in the price. I was willing to eat the $6 but the store manager would not exchange my bundle because she couldn’t figure out how…so I was forced to buy the one I needed outright.
Then they would not accept my return for the one I bought online. Everything on the site said that I should be able to return it in store.
After wasting over an hour in the store, I spent over an hour on the phone attempting to get an envelope for the return, which is absolutely ridiculous and I still have not been able to request it due to high call volume. The store manager told me I could just send it bad without requesting the envelope and she’s sure they will eventually credit my account. -__-
This is something the AI should have been able to handle. I'm beyond annoyed.
After all that, I left my wallet in the store and had to go back the next day to retrieve it. My debit card was missing. Worst...
Read moreThe people and service at this AT&T store are excellent. All those who helped me were fast, efficient, and courteous.
The one star rating is due to the poor product (AT&T Fiber Internet) and follow up on technical support for installation.
This office is a SALES office. Once the initial sale is done, they cannot support with any installation issues. Nor do they go into details of how cumbersome the install process is.
So here is my one-star experience: The initial install leaves an exposed fiber cable from the AT&T node through your yard. There is a follow up install (2-4 weeks, no firm date/time commitment) to bury the cable. During this time, you need to guard the cable from lawn mowers (yours, and your neighbor's, if the box is close to their yard), kids, pets, etc.
If the cable gets cut, as happened with me, it takes AT&T a week or more to come fix it, during which time you are out internet service. Then, once fixed, you need to wait for the buried wire services to come out.
When the buried wire service came out, they cut a lawn sprinkler line. I only found out when a neighbor told me that my sprinklers had no water pressure. So, then you have to fix the sprinkler system at your own cost and make multiple calls to get them to reimburse you, while they pass you from one call center to another...
So, only get AT&T fiber if you are willing to invest 10+ hours of your own time to guard the over ground wire, and make dozens of calls to their customer service center to cover their sloppy, uncoordinated install process. These 10+ hours, by the way, are work hours, since technical support is not open outside of those.
Oh, and there is a disclaimer every time you call AT&T that they record each call, but then each service rep you talk to has no idea of any previous conversation, there are no notes they can reference, and you start out at square one with each call. More than angry and...
Read moreIf I could give a zero I would! The guy named Everett is SCAMMING. I went in and purchased a phone July 3rd 2025, I wanted to transfer my old phone number to the new phone. He said unfortunately they couldn’t do that unless I added it as a 2nd line and received a “ temporary “ phone number. Then once my old number fully ported over I could come in and drop the “ temporary “ number. He also told me by doing this it would only add $10 to my monthly bill coming to a total of $100.01 every month. I was hesitant but I did it because I needed my old number. I came back July 5th 2025 and was told I couldn’t drop the “temporary “ phone number unless I paid $280 plus tax up front. Which goes completely against what he told me 2 days prior. I also received my bill summary of $261and brought that up too and he told me “ I guess I forgot to tell you, i usually tell all my customers, that I’ll receive a bunch of emails from AT&T but there not accurate.” Then proceeded to say my bill is $100.01 on his end. That all my discounts still need to be processed. Now today July 16th 2025 I look at my bill that’s due in 6 days and still says $261. I spoke with the manager on the 5th and told him I wanted to get this resolved by him and instead he put me right back with Everett the sales representative, and the manager went back and set down. He didn’t help with anything! Not to mention Everett signed the contract for me with out my consent and I wasn’t able to go over any paperwork. When I told the manger that as well he totally disregarded it. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with AT&T especially with me being a new customer. I definitely feel as though I have been scammed and now they won’t help me unless I pay more money which doesn’t make any since....
