Keep in mind- only 3 tables sat at 4pm. Should’ve been a red flag. The server, Nicholas, was not well suited for this job. He acted like it was an inconvenience to take a “made to order” order. My husband asked for his burger to be well done. Received pink inside. Added an over easy egg. Gave it over hard. Asked for sliced onions - they were chopped. Asked for spicy brown mustard- put yellow on it. I had the salmon asked for steamed broccoli instead of the garlic parmesan ( I guess that’s smothered on top to cover the spoiled veggies) the sweet potato fries had some red food coloring to cover what? It all had a fishy smell and the broccoli was tough I’m assuming because they nuked the plate. I also ordered a to-go jalapeño burger w/sliced avocado. The avocados were brown and smelled rancid. The meat patty was not what I’d call beef. Also came with radioactive sweet potatoes. Our 3 teenagers were on their way to Bonaroo so we brought them here to fill up. They ordered chicken wraps and shrimp entree. We offered to let them order take out for later but they declined. What teenager passes on free food especially headed to go camping. They’re too polite to complain about the food. But ,from the food left on plates we knew. Each meal came bottomless but the server was MIA. Not that I’d want more of anything. It’s like he knew if I checked that bag there’d be issues. I should’ve taken a pic of that to-go but I was so annoyed I tossed it to the chickens. I was prepared to drive an hour back just to make them sit down and eat it. If the cook and manager wouldn’t eat it themselves why would they serve it to someone else? We’d been better off giving the $146.66 to the teens. Also, gave Nic a $15 tip he didn’t deserve but since I used to be in the industry I always tip. Had I checked the to-go bag, he wouldn’t have gotten it and I would’ve demanded a refund. I will never go to any Red...
Read moreRed Robbins is one of my favorite places to eat usually. I eat there Everytime I come to Murfreesboro. I usually ask for the same server Chase because he really does a good job & remembers what I usually order each time. But today must've been his day off. I was really disappointed in today's service. First of all, since they had a shortage of servers, I had to wait 20 min to get a table even though there were alot available. They sat me in the bar area between 2 other tables of customers, even though there were other tables in that same area that would've been better for social distancing plus my table had 1 leg at least an inch shorter than the other which made it wobble real badly. When the server came I gave her my full order if just tea & a side salad since that was my usual. It was over 25 minutes before they brought it & the cucumbers looked like they had been frozen. I asked why it took so long & the server said they had to go in the back for fresh salad stuff. I ate & my server never came back to refill my tea or ask if I wanted seconds on the bottomless salad. My table did not have the electronic tablet where I could pay when I was finished so I had to wait another 20 minutes to get my check even though she knew I was finished. Other customers around me had eatten had gotten their food quickly, eatten & left while I kept waiting. When the server brought my ticket she never asked for my phone number to apply my rewards, I had to tell her. This was the 1st time ever eating there, the server wasn't very friendly & the cucumbers were bad. Maybe she was having a bad day, she was training someone, we all have those days but beware of the redhead female that works in the bar area. Maybe she'll have a better day tomorrow. I normally don:t complain, but today was an...
Read moreWent at 7:15 on a Sunday night and it was not busy. Hostess sat us immediately. Then we waited. 10 minutes later, our server came by and took our drink order and food order. Drinks (2 waters and a kids lemonade) came out in reasonable time. Then we waited. 45 minutes later our food came out (after one failed attempt where a server brought the tray to our table and then turned around and walked all the way back to the window.) Our order: 2 chicken sandwiches and a kids mac & cheese, all with normal fries. Except what was delivered was not what we ordered. One order, off the adult menu, came out with apples (apples?) and no fries. A chicken sandwich came out without anything on it - no lettuce, tomato, sauce, nothing. We did immediately get our "bottomless" fries refill - but had no chance to eat the first order so the refill got cold while we started our initial order. Meanwhile the couple that sat down next to us waited 15 minutes before being able to place a drink order. When they mentioned it to the server, the manager came out and started taking things off the bill. Manager didn't even pause at our table despite us pointing out two mistakes with our food to our waitress (not counting the refill fries going cold.) My guess: our waitress wasn't "cool" enough to have a manager visit her tables, I guess? Altough it is possible that we weren't mean enough? Maybe next time we'll be a little grouchy and see if the manager cares about our table.
We finished our meal with empty drinks and a broken "pay at the table" device that the waitress said hadn't been working all day.
Overall: Food was OK, service was slow, manager on duty was unaware of what was going on in his restaurant...
